Agree, I didn't notice no guns on the artwork upon my first look at it, but it's hard to unnotice its lack of presence on the art packages. There's some gun fight action in the video clips, but I can see mod makers going to town with this one to offer alternatives for those that really want guns added to the game aesthetics
While T2/T3 had gungrip ball launchers but you'd be hard pressed to find a gun on the actual tables. T3 does have one shotgun in the back glass. Bond had guns but Stern had trouble with the license holders on mode stacking and animations which shows License Holders get a lot of say. My guess is they couldn't secure the rights for gun names/likeness outside the movie scenes for the LCD from the gun companies. Could they have done generic non-descript guns? Possibly. But I have a feeling people would complain if they put a generic looking gun in Wick's hand and not a Taran Tactical lol. Edit: Nvm, Gomez stated it was the Brand's decision not to have guns.
It’s all about what’s allowed for licensing, nothing Stern can do on that if you want a game. It is allowed in the video clips. Those are the rules they were given.

Looks good but for a premium not near $10k good. Not enough meat on the bones to get over a pro. And forget the $13k LE price. Layout reminds me of venom. I do love the fluorescent green in the plastics. Thanks for the early peek!

I just ordered the LE..my sons and I are excited! I love the Stern Insider Connect. Stern has the most sold play! Jersey Jacks are the most gorgeous by far but they don’t seem to have the same exciting modes for some reason. Toy Story is one of my favorites..it’s just so chill and fun to play. Will NEVER get bored of it

Game begs for a.... Gun on the entire playfield or artwork ROFL. Hilarious they didn't put a single one anywhere like It's LOTR or something. Swords! Ninja stuff!! No guns.
The art package on the premium looks a lot better than the one in the reveal video. Still butthurt about Lionsgate's decision to not have any firearms in the art package, but it's a modder's dream.
Deadpool was my first pinball from Stern(still love it) and had my eyes on Godzilla for a while. However, I also was hoping for maybe a Lord of the Rings, Simpsons, or Ghostbusters rerelease. With that said, this looks awesome! I really want to play it. I personally think the play field looks really entertaining and might be tempted to get this one.
Hey CGTV guys! Appreciate you stopping by and Deadpool is super awesome. This has the bones to be a really fun and deep game too, so hoping to play it more when it's in the wild!
We wanted John Wick not John Woke. As a huge stern fan I gotta say if your not going to do it rite then don’t do it. I now wish this license went to Jersey Jack.
When I watch this gameplay I can't help but notice the "BRICKED": shots that never make the ramps or lanes they are targeting. Happens too often on this machine for what it is. Not impressed with this game....sorry it's a DUD!
This post is not about guns. I just want to say I like how positive you are. That comes through. Likely partly why Stern reached out to you to do this. Great job!
Thank you so much for the feedback Johnny! I'm excited to be able to share my experience with others, it's one of the favorite types of content I love making. Thanks for coming along with me 😀
Kongs, Great Theme for a pinball table. I liked the first film, and though I loved the rogues gallery of villains in the three sequels, I thought the action got too repetitive and I found myself zoning out during fight scenes. But time to redeem the franchise with a pinball machine... Maybe. First impression, it's a pretty table, but I'm not really feeling it. So much stuff pointed out from the movies like, we have this and we have that, but it's coming off as generic to me. Its lacking a certain magic that would make me want to play it. I can't put my finger on it, but I can usually tell if I want to play a machine just by looking at it and seeing a bit of gameplay. I don't know, I just haven't been too excited with Stern's latest tables. Now note, I haven't physically played them, so this is just coming from a guy who's just watched videos. I may love them hands on. But Jaws, Venom, James Bond, Foo Fighters, all left me yawning. But they're going up against heavy hitters like Godzilla, Elvira, Mandalorian, Black Knight Sword of Rage, Deadpool, KISS, Metallica, I can go on and on. I can't wait to get back to a place with real pinball machines and experience some of these tables. I may even play a game of John Wick. I just wish Stern would consider bringing their tables to the VPin format, as in reality, I'm not going to ever own a real pin. I live vicariously through creators like yourself when it comes to that. I'm just glad I get to participate in some fashion when it comes to Home Arcade thanks to companies also making consumer friendly products. I'm glad Stern and others are continuing to make new machines and I'm always looking forward to what's next :) vgv
Thanks VGV! I'd still recommend giving it a shot if you see one in the wild to try it out before fully assessing it as a game. I enjoyed my short time with it, hope you get to play one soon!
Kongs, Oh yes, absolutely. It wouldn't ever want to fully judge a pin without playing it. Vying for attention has been an important factor when going to the arcade for me. Back in the day, it was 4 quarters in my pocket, 100 games to choose from. I needed to be sure of a good time, before dropping one. I feel standing out as a game is still important today. I think about going to a place like Galloping Ghost, knowing I won't be able to play everything, so I still have to make choices. I do want to play Stern's John Wick, because I'd love to give a meaningful assessment. I still haven't played Godzilla. If I only had money to play one though, Go Go Godzilla! Thanks for the video! vgv
MEGA Missed opportunity to not include the back half of a Heckler & Koch P30L (John Wick's favorite handgun) as the plunger. Should have contacted H&K because I'm sure they would have been excited to work with Stern on this #NoCompromise
I guess it's ok to kill someone with a knife or pencil but not a gun. I was so excited to purchase this but can't believe there isn't a single gun on the playfield. Come on Stern, you have an electric chair on Metallica... can't we have a firearm on John Wick.
@@KongsRUs I don't want to be a negative Nelly but I looked at all 3 versions of John Wick and I see NO guns/firearms on the pin side art or backboards.
