I find this super important a Mother hands down family tradition and a Dad making each daughter a Ula warms my heart.
May you and your family always be blessed and warm and kept safe.

Thank you for sharing this Agnes! I don't have an ulu but I have a rolling pin that belonged to my Grandmother and Mother and now I have it. I won't have a daughter to hand it down to since I had all boys but I am hoping one of my sons will want it. So many great pies, noodles and lefsa made with this rolling pin!

Great video. Always admired the ulu, woman's knife. The slate and jade ones are truely outstanding artifacts. I own many, make knives as a hobby. The ulu, intuit food processor.

Bought my first Ulu for fleshing my deer hides, the difference it makes is astounding.
