I wish the anchor and organisers had the presence of mind to give a consolation prize to the finals participants who didn't win any award. When participants who were not selected for the finals were given trophy in earlier episodes, why did the anchor and organisers leave out Srikrithi? It was disheartening to see a disappointed and almost crying Srikrithi. She must have felt very dejected and demoralised by the finals experience. Everyone makes mistakes including the anchor and organisers. I'm sure Ragamalika TV will learn from the mistakes and not repeat them the next time. Wishing everyone the best.

Thanks to Ragamalika TV for conducting such a competitive music program for carnatic music. The panel of judges, the anchor, kids, parents have done phenomenal work. Congratulations to all the winners and double congratulations to all those who did not win. Like many others I have a point to make- rather a request: Some kids are getting multiple awards - people's choice, jury's choice and title winner or runner up. But some kids are left out. At this level, all are equally talented. It would have been better if every kid got some award to take back home.. It can be called as 'Special award', ' consolation award', ' promising talent' etc. I sincerely feel every finalist should get a trophy.
Srikruthi performed so well right from the beginning. Her performance was consistent and she also handled judges questions confidentally. We expected an award for her performance and was very surprised and disappointed that no award or word of appreciation was given to her. We felt bad seeing the sad face of that little girl on stage. It would surely demotivate an upcoming bright singer. If 3 awards are given to one performer, why not encourage this girl with 1 award. Very unfair and didn't expect from Subashree madam's show. Otherwise all children gave a wonderful performance with abundant talents.

I am in US. Seen the earlier episodes again. Excellent selection of finalists by Nithyashree madam, Sasikiran,Bharath Sundar and SriRanjini. Srikriti seems to be musical prodigy and unanimously selected for finale. Unfortunately it was not a day of luck for her. However organizers should have arranged a consolation momento as given in the elimination rounds from the hands of Doyen of music TVG sir. Srikriti , you have a bright musical future. Hearty Appreciation to Raaga Maalikaa Channel for having organised an absorbing Carnatic Music Contest Show in a planned, professional & systematic way. The Efforts, the Enthusiasm and the Energy level of Smt Subhasree Thanikachakam and her entire Team members who worked behind this Show is laudable . Of course, always a scope may exist for making Continuous improvements in formatting and designing the Contests based on self evaluation as well as on the basis of feedbacks given by the learned musicians, Jurists and the Rasikaas on various aspects. The perception of the Rasikaas may be @ one level and the well measured views and judgement of the much learned Jurists (duly weighing various aspects of the Contestants) will naturally be at a much higher level. Hence, the judgement by the Panelists must be duly respected. But, it would be better if the glaring huge gap in terms of Recognition (Reward) to the Title Winner and the rest of the Finalists is reviewed and brought down suitably so that the intensity of disappointment may be felt less among the non-winners in this tender age group. That's while the Winner is awarded with a Bonanza Package, the other finalists need not go empty handed or with Much Lesser Recognition. Maybe, 2nd / 3rd Prizes may be considered. Another thing is, an Exclusive Special award may be considered for the "Best Voice" among the finalists . Because, a Winner need not necessarily have to possess the Best Voice even though he or she may have scored over in other aspects. Such a parameter may even help to check the tendency of some of the singers giving stress on the nasal sound rather than preferring an Open-throated singing, lack of focus on the correct pronunciation, etc. These are my humble, but, well measured views for the Organisers to consider in future. A Grand Show indeed, Hearty Congrats to the Organisers, the Team which worked behind, the Winners and all the Finalists. Best Wishes to all.

In a competition one of the contestants has to be selected as first and another as runner up. The difference between the first and the last (?) will be a miniscule only, which cannot be exactly measured. According to me all the participants are winners. I Always wanted to learn carnatic music......im past my childhood n adolescent already(24yrs now!)..........ive always been scared of the whole system,..the jambavans of the carnatic music world ,.......n from a non bramhin family.... or not having any exposure to carnatic music in my early years or with no family members into music of any kind..........all this just scared me too much ........ anyways,hope ill ve able to learn carnatic music in my next lifebirth 🌼🪔

Her expectation and then the disappointment was very evident on her face. I just hope the child and her parents do not get dejected and should continue giving performance whether award or no award. My admiration and accolade to the contestants and the judges as well. It is amazing how young contestants perform fearlessly in front of the judges and an expert audience - It is like being on a chopping block. The judges do a great job of dicing and mincing the contestants' level of proficiency. It is very challenging for the judges to pick one contestant among the very, very best. It may be more difficult to be a judge than a contestant??? Competing in Carnatic Music Idol is so competitive it is just like taking Indian Civil Service exams. Kudos to all the contestants and the judges.
In my eyes, Srikrithi was the star. Couldn’t see her in pain. What happened to our good old civility? Doesn’t that little girl deserve one? Watching this is painful to say the least. Let some commonsense prevail.

Congrats all winners. all participants were very good. However very disappointed that Srikriti did not manage to get any prize. She was very good and her performance was very consistent throughout. Her expectation and then the disappointment was very evident on her face. I just hope the child and her parents do not get dejected and should continue giving performance whether award or no award. Srikrii You are gifted and should feel happy you are talented and enjoy singing. Don't worry about rewards.

Plz don't hurt anyone. Consider all d participants equally. Try to avoid these type of things next time. Everyone has got some award. But that one child srikriti only not Consider. Totally forgotten. She had also put lot of efforts to attain ds stage. Try to encourage all d participants don't hurt like ds. This is a very worst thing. U did a single mistake make the one more disappointed.

The judges do a great job of dicing and mincing the contestants' level
of proficiency. It is very challenging for the judges to pick one contestant
among the very, very best. It may be more difficult to be a judge than a contestant???
Competing in Carnatic Music Idol is so competitive it is just like taking

Hearty Congratulations to all the finalists! Totally unfair judgement in the junior category. Very disheartened to see someone we expected to be the winner being totally neglected. Feeling shocked that the panel and organizers left out one child. Definitely it would have a taken a toll on the child's confidence, Kudos Ragamalika tv.
