I've found much use for the Merlin app. What I find particularly useful is using the location to get a short list of bird in the area so that you can look out for the rare birds in the area you are in...
Yeah that is a great feature.😊 also makes it easier for beginners to know what birds should be around them but also if they see something out of the ordinary 😎
