Love my new ddp fuel plate. Completely changed the character of the truck (12 valve with the 215 pump) for the better. Smokes way less off the line, cleans right up and spins the turbo harder and earlier. Ddp is the only company I trust for fuel system components
👍👍have got AFC live on/ in a '97 180 pump, and a 6ct 300 HP pump on a 24V with a set of your 75hp nozzles..Not sure on the inj pump specifics but I do know it had 181 valves that got swapped for 024... It doesn't smoke runs good..good enough for me anyway..but it probably could use more 🤣.. probably have to try one of your plates... thanks for the videos, and products👍👍👊

I don’t care what fuel plate you have. If it’s not stock you’re going to melt it down. Egt gauge is a must if you want more power. I personally love my power driven diesel afc live. All the power I can have and no smoke. Pulling a load I simply turn a knob and egt has control. I really like my power driven diesel stage 2 injectors. Way more power with less smoke
@@brianconnor5213 everything I got from them so far have been junk but the lift pump. I got a oring head from them it was full of shaving and the valve keepers were all miss match. Got afc live from them it doesn't work they told me they seen a few trucks that it doesn't work on. Got a set of them 7x11 injectors they were junk nothing but tons of black smoke. Last thing I got was a bilket tappet cover couldn't get the thing to seal up end up putting the stock one back on. No more I am done buying from them just bad luck I guess.
Still drives me nuts that people make bad parts and products. And even worse they get some idiots that give reviews saying they are great. Using your plate and being able to stay in the fuel without getting too awful hot is so much better to tow with. Let alone the engine and oil life increase. You run one that hot even if you don't melt it you will hurt something pretty quick drop a valve or seat crack a head blow a freeze plug out blow the head gasket seice number 6 crack a sleeve the options are endless running one too hot. Your cooking system will thank you too.
This guy is very well spoken, if there was a 12valve cummins shop class this guy should be the teacher. Thanks for the content.
Thanks for the informative video. Glad there is still some good companies out there supporting the old mechanical guys.
Would love to hear talk about positioning the fuel plate on the AFC housing and star wheel adjustment for better tuning of 12 valves.
I wish you would test afc live!
Thatd be a cool test which in cab afc adjuster is more effective

What else do you have done to the truck & what playe did you choose?
Would love to see you guys discuss and/or test an AFC Live.
Great stuff!
Damn i love this nerdy ppump shit. I really need to order some new stuff for my truck and get to tuning.

Good stuff!!!! 🔥 I wish I knew this 15yrs ago. Very cool 😎 now we need an AFC live test
Do you ever install afc live without fuel plate? I have afc live and no plate and love it
This is good info but it’s just proving the turbo is way to small. You should put in a 62/67 drop in and see
good stuff
i got no idea what these plates are ? where do they get installed ?

@jp-qk3yb what's a AFC housing and how does this work on the pump ? Thanks for telling me what it is
