pristin disbanded early this year but were inactive for about a year before they disbanded but 4 of its members are now in a new group called hinapia (us fans speculate its stands for hi! im not a pledis idol anymore) they debuted with "drip" a month or 2 ago if youd like to watch it!
That’s not quite right. Officially they disbanded may this year. But by then they’ve already been inactive for a year.

It's Pledis we're talking about. There's a reason behind us calling them Pledsh*t. They ruined After School and Pristin and single-handedly set up NU'EST almost disbanding because of their 1st tier level sh*t marketing and mismanagement.
Pledis will be Pledis. I didn't stan Pristin but was a casual listener. Girls had so much potential and Pledis, like always, wasted it. I'm a L.O.V.E (CARAT too) so I've seen first-hand just how bad with management they are and have always been--my babies almost disbanded because of their dumbasses.
The girls who wanted to continue with their career redebuted as hinapia with one added member. So, support HINAPIA and relive the pristin vibes.
Well, while Pledis certainly have never covered themselves in glory for their artist management, it has since become known why Pristin didn't have activities as a full group - because practically half of the members were no longer motivated to be idol singers. Pristin V was the last attempt to get at least some of the ones who did still want to be in a group out and active and it was successful, but even within that there were disagreements BETWEEN MEMBERS over their chosen direction. Pledis saw that the best option this year was simply to disband the group and agree to mutual termination of the contracts from members who wanted to, keeping others in the label to pursue their new goals like Kyulkyung's acting career and solo music in China.
Basically, while Pledis have been shitty in the past especially with After School, I think Pristin's situation stemmed from the girs themselves and ultimately this was the best course of action for them, even if it did take far too long to resolve.
Pristin originally a 10 member girl group debuted in 2017. I believe seven members of pristin competed in a survival show called produce 101 which is a show where trainees from companies all over Korea competed to temporarily showcase themselves for how ever long their joint contract last. Out of the 7 only 2( nayoung, and pinky) made it into the group ioi. After ioi disbanded the 2 members then went back to pledis where they then debut again in pristin. Pristin would go on and win rookie of the year in 2017. Everyone thought they would go on and accomplish even more but sadly it came to a halt when they didn't promote for literally two years which then pledis their company announced their disbandment

And thank goodness they (primarily NU'EST) have no need to rely on Pledis to market them now. NU'EST finally has their talent recognized. The only good thing Pledis ever did for them was letting them go on Produce 101.

The melody line after 4:40 seconds is so good. The melody line in the front was good, but when I first heard this song, it was so fresh and good that another melody came out to fill the second half. Unfortunately, the group was disbanded in 2019 because their company didn't work properly. I'm so upset.

PRISTIN may be disbanded but you can still support HINAPIA (where minkyeong, gyeongwon, eunwoo, and yaebin re-debuted as a group again) and the solo activities of ex-pristin members like nayoung and kyulkyung.

yewon - havent heard anything from her (she's locked up in pl*dis dungeon smh)

Kyla their maknae attends Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California and was at school the day of a school shooting. Thankfully she wasnt physically harmed. She took alot of crap from KNETZ while active with Pristin and the stress pushed her to leave the group. Its a shame cause they didnt give her much of a chance.
Some girls have debut on other groups but its so sad what happened to them they even say they were preparing a new album when they told the group was going to disband 😔😔😔

7 out of the 10 members left Pristin and the remaining 3 were suppose to go solo but as of now only 1 of them had activities in China.
3 PristinV and 1 Pristin member formed a new group named Hinapia and their debut song was called Drip, the song’s Composer was the one who composed Get It.

Pristin was formed in 2015 under the project name Pledis Girlz.
7 of their members were contestants on the Survival Show Produce101.
During their time as Pledis Girlz in 2016 they held concerts to promote themselves. While the 2 members who won a spot in the Produce101’s group promote as I.O.I members until the group’s disbandment in early 2017
They officially debuted in 2017 with the song Wee Woo & had a comeback in the same year with the song We Like. On that same year, member Kyla was sent back to America to rest as she had a concussion during set filming.
In 2018 they announced that Pristin will be debuting a subunit PristinV with 5 members while the whole group was still up in the air.
Out of nowhere in 2019 they announced that Pristin had disbanded and 3 out of the 10 members had re-contracted with Pledis.
Hinapia members said in an interview that Pristin was actually preparing for a comeback.
Kyla who now has a TH-cam channel, mentioned that they had recorded a lot of songs that never saw the light of day, and I’m sure that it’s very common in the music industry but with all these unused songs they could’ve at least put out 3 EPs or more while the group was still on hiatus.
