The Peanuts music by Ed Bogas and Judy Munsen is underrated in my opinion. I don’t think it holds a candle to Guaraldi or Benoit, but I think it’s still pretty great, and hopefully more Bogas and Munsen scores can be ripped and uploaded.
Same. Bon voyage has one of the best soundtracks ever, but I still enjoy the jazzy impressions of Vince more. This feels more like rock, probably because ed novas worked on the first x-rated animation Fritz the cat witch I recently found out about a few months ago.
This is terrific. We were just humming this non-Guaraldi soundtrack, as it has its moments of grandiose. Now we need BON VOYAGE and YOU’RE THE GREATEST and the theme to CB AND SNOOPY SHOW.
The exhilaration of getting to kick that football. I think Charlie Brown finally understood something in that moment. Which is why he was like *"Man, I can't wait to kick it again, I sure would like to kick it again..."*
The TV special was so disturbing, but what a jam. lulz. Also, a huge trivia nugget, Charlie Brown actually kicks the football. Like how is any of this even real??? But it is.
I absolutely love Ed Bogas and Judy Munsen's music. I would to hear the music from both Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown and Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown. I particularly would love to hear the ending music of Bon Voyage in its entirety.
I think Ed Bogas and Judy Munsen don't get enough credit. They were told not to directly imitate Vince (out of respect), and considering that I think they captured the Peanuts feel pretty well. I also like that not every scene had to have a keyboard in it.
Although this Ed Bogas's made soundtrack, it's very reminds of the soundtracks by Vince Guaraldi, with the difference that this one is more blues than jazz. And it's the first Peanuts's cartoon that I watched in my life, when my father bought our first VCR, between september and november 1990.
me too. I remember being freaked out by this episode but loved it. Born 83 but was probably 6 or 7 when I saw it. First charlie brown I ever remember seeing.
this is still my favorite charlie brown, race for your life is second. As a kid, the ghost charlie brown scared me when he was in the sheet with the tie & this music too 9:54
Brilliant! I've wanted this stuff my entire life! By the way, have you done "Life Is A Circus, Charlie Brown"? There are some delicious cues in that one especially when Snoopy gets "dognapped."
I think we should update Charlie Brown’s All Stars! soundtrack. 1. “All-Stars Theme” should be changed from PAL to NTSC. 2. One of the tracks is missing. The missing track is “Fanfare.” And 3. I wonder if we have “Rain, Rain, Go Away” without raining sound effects.
15:37 is my true favorite. And you paused it perfectly at that, Lucy looks so priceless!

I completely agree.

Thank you so much for these CB soundtracks. You've made my day.
Thank you, this on dvd was my childhood.

some of this sounds like it could have been in a Garfield special. Mr. Bogas did some great work!

Very much agree. A lot of later peanuts music is just as legendary as Vince stuff to me.
YES
MY FAVORITE BOGUS SOUNDTRACK FOR PEANUTS
THANK YOU

That's what I thought as well. It also has more psychedelia and dixie in some places.

Ed Bogas tooked over Vince Guaraldi's work (post-Vince Guaraldi era)
13:36 this randomly pops in my head on a regular basis
Hi! I was just waiting impatient for you to upload other peanuts specials soundtracks!
Sorry. I've run out of source material.

Unfortunately the 5.1 track has more hiss than the 2.0 track. But at your request the new version has been posted.
@@spetragl How about reuploading "You're the greatest, Charlie Brown"?
Are you still doing the other 5.1 soundtracks, like You're the Greatest and It's Your First Kiss?
I hadn't intended to since Phineas had his video of "Greatest" banned.
@@spetragl Really? Have any of those songs even been officially released anywhere? That's strange it would have been blocked.
@@RingoStarr39 It was Phineas Pines: th-cam.com/video/MfbCkXYDtWE/w-d-xo.html
😊
Just want to ask, what software was used to remove the voiceovers from the audio?
I got lucky with this one. The 5.1 4K BluRay had a separate music track.
@@spetragl It's Magic, Charlie Brown is on Blu-Ray? 😲
Could you please reupload the "You're the greatest Charlie Brown" soundtrack? Thanks in advance. :)

Do you have the soundtrack for Someday You'll Find Her, Charlie Brown? Always loved the music in that one and I can't find it on YT anymore.
