When working out, especially doing things that build muscle, I recommend doing measurements as a way to monitor progress and weight may not be a true indicator as the muscle you gain will weigh more than the fat you lose. Keep it up!
I think that is what I need as well, an exercise partner. I feel the same way, slow and steady, few pounds at a time. So far in 2 1/2 yrs. I melted 30lbs but 8 of them is due because I got a really really bad cold. I believe the 8lbs I lost when I was sick was muscle more than fat. I un-retired and started working which made me move way more then I use to. Now I have 2 jobs and love moving.
Poorly. This guy got sick over an over again which took a toll on my mental health. I'm trying to regain my stamina just to get normal tasks completed and hope to hit the workouts soon.
@@Challenged1 I hear ya. You've done some inspirational work on that house and have especially enjoyed the financial content. I hope you feel better soon and get some momentum on your side. Hang in there.

That's progress. A partner is definitely an asset when exercising. You can feed off of each others energy.
Hey shit happens stick with it! Nutrition is even more important than the exercise!
Agreed
