    This is so relaxing ! I like how you did two cleanings and then you did your mask ! That’s how I start my routine and now my skin is so smooth, hydrated and glowing

    Your skin is perfect, I am learning so much from this video, thank you for this!! I love how you're also working with affordable products, a lot of the time people think that good product = a lot of money but that's not true! I need to get a steamer and a high-frequency wand! So many good benefits from it too!

      Yess definitely try a high frequency wand! Oh I know affordable products these days are so much better than they were when I first became an esthetician. There are so many good options now. I’m so glad you liked the video girly ❤️❤️

    I have a question for you. I am trying to cut down on my skincare routine. I have found over the past couple months for myself that less is more beneficial to my skin & my skin has never looked better. Usually it's just cleanser & SPF everyday for me. However, if I am doing makeup for a special occasion I'll add in eye cream, serum, and moisturizer (but that's not everyday). For the most part I feel like the more stuff I pile onto my face "suffocates" or irritates my skin. It's nice when my skin can breathe. In your professional opinion is eye cream necessary? I was googling it and a lot of sites say no.
    "Look, if things are pretty regular when it comes to your eye area (it's not too dry, puffy, dark or creased) and if you’re already using a good serum and facial moisturiser (that doesn't irritate your eyes), then these will do the trick nicely. Because the thing is - an eye cream essentially only hydrates and protects the skin around the eye, which are all the things your trusty serum and cream are doing to the rest of your face"
    "Most eye creams do very little other than moisturise the skin's surface and therefore temporarily plump up fine lines and wrinkles due to their hydration effects," Eye cream is a moisturizer in a tiny tube at a higher price."

    • @SarahSaleen
      @SarahSaleen  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree and disagree. It really just depends on the ingredients in your eye cream.. not all of them are your moisturizer repackaged.
      But some are.. If you’re happy with your under eyes then leave out the extra eye cream. You can always use your moisturizer around your eyes instead.
      It’s best to listen to your skin. If a minimal skincare routine works best for you I’d stick to that.

    • @amandaavery2702
      @amandaavery2702 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SarahSaleen I mainly use eye cream for the purpose when prepping for my makeup routine so it goes on flawlessly. Sometimes for dark circles but those are just genetic and even my concealer and under eye corrector don't always cancel out dark circles. But mainly for makeup prep, so in terms of makeup prep, do you think I need it?

    Thank you for this tutorial! How often do you recommend doing this treatment? And how often should we use the steamer?

    • @SarahSaleen
      @SarahSaleen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi love! So I rarely steam now. It’s not necessary but it can help soften the skin when you’re working on it. I’d only use it for a short amount of time, during the cleansing, or even just the second cleanse.
      You can do this 1-2x a month depending on your skin tolerance. I’d skip any actives at least the day before and after doing this. I have some updated facial routines in my TH-cam shorts and I’ll make an updated video soon ❤️❤️

      I believe it’s nuderma. however I don’t use them too often! Over using them can damage the skin tissue. If I use it it’s honestly for maybe a minute, or if I have stubborn hormonal acne I’ll use it ❤️

      @@SarahSaleen That would be great! Looking forward to it. Basically, I’m from Australia and it’s extremely hard to find affordable skincare products and tools locally as well as AU based TH-camrs, which is a shame. I only rely on very few TH-camrs and you are one of them. While watching your videos I feel happy for someone sharing genuine unsponsored suggestions but turns out to be disappointing (you are not at fault for sure) as most of the products are only available in US. I wish you could also review some AU products and tools. 🤞🏼

      @@SarahSaleen Also please share all the facial tools you use throughout the year not just in a week. Just wanting to make sure I invest in the right products which could help me with hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone on face, neck, knees , elbows, lips (would you recommend Permanent lip makeup?) and underarms, rosacea, open pores and KP. I’m sure many viewers would be able to relate with me so your videos would be definitely beneficial to many people out there. I truly appreciate your time and effort!

      But I would like to get microneedling combined with radio frequency, and Morpheus8 ..

    Why go up with the gua sha tool? The drainage point (termini) is at the base of the sides of the neck. You are pushing lymph back into your face.
