Which tools?
So nice! I don’t know leather working but I certainly appreciate that your stitching holes line up perfectly after glue and fold. The finished wallet is elegant, so encouraging for a beginner!
This has given me a lot to think about. It may be labeled for beginners but the expert skill is clear from each cut and fold.

Wow, beautiful and elegant as always, but simple enough for someone just starting out. Very nice! Anyone who’s learned edge beveling and burnishing, stitching, installing a snap, and proper gluing technique should be able to make this. That gives new makers the confidence to keep going!

I pick up the wrong hobby, I started working on a lathe making pens, I love doing it but watching you makes me want to get into leather craft. Love watching your videos
Making a pen is also a very interesting thing. If you want to do leather work, just do it. If you like crafts, Leathercraft won't be that hard.

What material do you use for your backer of the templates? The thing you glue the paper on? Is that cardstock? Plastic?
