Hi Brenda, that turtle was my favorite as well. They had more than 50 of them and I had to look at all to find the right one for me! My time on the beach with my detector is my favorite thing to do, you never know what you will find! Have a good evening.
Thank you Elizabeth. Very serene and beautiful especially in the early morning. Amazing to me that people walk by some wash outs and don't pick up the trash that washed out. You never know what could be hiding in the "trash"!
Looks like you could almost cross the ocean as low as that tide is. Thanks for sharing your awesome finds and the message in the bottle would have been amazing if there was one in there. Loved that movie with Kevin Cosner by the way!
23 Quarters!!!!! Good job QQ!!!! Love the turtle. You should call him QT (Quarter Turtle) because he believes you'll get 500 by the end of the year. See....he's saying yes..yes..uh huh...yes...yes...
Nice finds Basia. That tide was LOW. I remember those tides when I worked at my parents marina back in the day. Moon tides. Extreme low and then flooding. Thank you for sharing. GL and HH. Eric
Thank you Mari, I guess the message was actually on the bottle, all those live barnacles that wanted to go back in the water! Have a good evening Mari!
Hi Tony, I thought about rubbing that bottle but didn't want to crush all those living creatures off of it! So the message was not in the bottle it was on the bottle, put it back in the water! Happy Hunting
Maybe you should have included a message in the bottle, awesome video and lots of finds, those quarters are getting up there! HH&GL on your next hunt, see ya then!
Thank you! No message in the bottle but I think the message here was on the bottle to put it back in the water! All those live little creatures still alive! Yes, the quarters are adding up fast!
Those barnacles all over the bottle were cool. I'm surprised they latched on to that smooth glass surface. First time I've ever seen a full pack of cigarettes found. So easy to loose things in all that sand. Great vid as always.
Thank you Jason. There were other washouts as well with the barnacles all over them (long boards). So the message was not in the bottle it was ON the bottle., put us back in the water! I never paid attention to these live creatures before, so alive and moving around like that, you always learn something! Yes, people drop stuff all the time.
nice looking spade to use in the garden and dig in sand, that bottle looked old wow.nice tool with the little knife.its nice you are donating some of those things great video!
Hi, yes, I donate children's toys to a local charity, all dog gear to a dog rescue group and pull tabs to Ronald McDonald house! I never saw live barnacles up close so thought that bottle was cool.
Hi Basia!! We were at Emerald Isle this past week but didn't make it to the Seafood Festival. Stayed on Coquina Drive and had a wonderful stay. Not many sea shells at all and misty rain most of week but still nice. Even so hot it was like summer. Glad you find so many nice treasures, keep up the great videos!!
Hi, thank you so much! Glad you had a nice stay in Emerald Isle. The shells come in in some areas more than others you just have to go out there in low tide and walk. Have a great day!
Way to go Quarter Girl, You did everything perfect, a great hunt by adjusting down to the wet sand to get that change pulled from the towel line now that the summer vacationers are not dropping in the dry sand. Hope you can reach 500 by years end....glhh
Hello! I just booked a beach house for next May at the point on Emerald Isle! We are so excited and I’m definitely going to bring our metal detector lol. I would love to find some beautiful shells too. I enjoyed this video very much thank you for making it.
Wow, again lots of quarters! You are hunting right, if you are finding the quarters and nickels! If there are any good rings, that's where they would be, right? Well done! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Charles, yes, that's where the gold & other heavy objects would be. Each time I got the nickel tone, my heart was racing hoping it was gold! Oh well, maybe next time!
Yes, 300 quarters and still more time left for 2017! Our daughter is involved with a dog rescue organization so I will be sending all the "dog" finds to her.
Nice job Quarter Hoarder! #300 LOL Fishing equipment, tools, makeup, cigarettes... only lacking few beers. You bought that turtle on your last trip. Looks great!
Thank you Sinisha. Yes, a nice assortment of finds, definitely enjoyed being out there! Got that turtle at the seafood festival, kind of fits in my table décor! Happy Hunting
And thanks for sharing how long it took to collect this, I know it’s frustrating when you don’t even find trash! Makes me question if I’m doing it wrong or my machine is not working right. Haha
Thank you so much. It never seizes to amaze me all the "stuff" that people leave behind and all that washes up in high tide. I like to go out before sunrise and see what all is out there. Hurricanes and bad storms stir up that ocean and the result is all kinds of "treasures" end up on the beach!
Hi Kate, no message in the bottle but instead it was on top of the bottle. All those living barnacles begging me to put them back in the water! Have a great day
ANOTHER GREAT DAY. WE SAW BOBBLE TURTLE IN THE SEA FOOD VIDEO. GOT TO GET ONE. ALSO IT WOULD NICE TO HAVE A 5 gal GLASS JUG FOR YOUR COIN FIND FOR THE YEAR. SEE YA.
Thank you Joe & Donna. I got that turtle at the seafood festival, they had over 50 of them and I had to look at all to find the right one! I may have to get a large jug for all that money! Hope you both are doing well!
Hi Dave, you are right, the heavier objects hide on the other side of that sand bar. Good thing the sand bar is breached or broken in many areas so the heavier objects make it to the shore and land in low spots. The key is to find those areas. My machine is not waterproof so I am limited to how far I can go out there. A rogue wave could kill my machine...
That was really cool you had a good find lots of interesting stuff makes me sad to see all those fish hooks that could ruin your vacation by stepping on one of them I've been to Emerald Isle twice both times in the 90s I live in the northwest suburbs of Philadelphia in Emerald Isle was really nice back then the beach wasn't exactly huge by any means but it was nice in the summer so lots of man of war jellyfish we would bury them in the sand so nobody would step on them but it was a great vacations I like Emerald Isle maybe someday I'll go back a beachfront home for rent in August went for $500 we have a beach home on Long Beach Island New Jersey but beachfront homes go for five to ten thousand a week too much money if you go to Mexico for 2 months on that. I guess there's a lot of rich people on my Island. But it was really cool to see Emerald Isle pop-up so I had to see what you got I just got done watching coin Island the island did have plant life on it but it completely was watched over I was hoping she might find some gold coins but no such luck it looks like a good place to look. Thanks for taking me on this coin venture with you it was fun. Bob storm
Hi Bob, glad you stopped by my channel. Lots of stuff in the sand including hooks, knives, scissors & various tools that could harm people. I like detecting this beach as targets are plentiful and are always replenished by people & the high tides! Many of the older beachfront homes have been replaced with large homes and condos that charge a fortune for a week's stay. Some go for $10K-$15K per week. Emerald Isle is a popular beach so the rentals get filled up quickly. Have a great day!
Good haul! You are getting a big collection of quarters. $$$ mad money! 💰😁
Thank you girl! Yes, the mad money is adding up!
I love the turtle. That was my favorite craft from your seafood festival video. It looks like you had a great hunt. Thanks for sharing✌🏻
Hi Brenda, that turtle was my favorite as well. They had more than 50 of them and I had to look at all to find the right one for me! My time on the beach with my detector is my favorite thing to do, you never know what you will find! Have a good evening.

Hi Eric, yes, this was a moon tide. I was glad to be out there, way out there! Happy Hunting

Very cool as always. I'm always fascinated at how the corrosion varies on the coins you find. Congrats on 300 quarters thus far in 2017! LOL!
Thank you Tim! This hobby is fascinating nd exciting for me, you never know what you will get next! Have a great weekend.
You, too. ;-)

Thanks for coming along! That low tide in daylight is perfect, love it at those times! We'll see how the quarters will end up at the end of the year!
Great hunting.
Thank you Stephen!
Love the turtle. I was hoping you bought it at the fair. Great relaxing hunt!!!
Ha ha, yes, I admired those turtles and had to look at all of them (over 50 of them) before selecting this one!
Hello! I just booked a beach house for next May at the point on Emerald Isle! We are so excited and I’m definitely going to bring our metal detector lol. I would love to find some beautiful shells too. I enjoyed this video very much thank you for making it.

Basia, I've never seen live barnacles! That was amazing!
I agree, this is what happens when you take a closer look and really see!
Nice job Quarter Hoarder! #300 LOL
Fishing equipment, tools, makeup, cigarettes... only lacking few beers.
You bought that turtle on your last trip. Looks great!
Thank you Sinisha. Yes, a nice assortment of finds, definitely enjoyed being out there! Got that turtle at the seafood festival, kind of fits in my table décor! Happy Hunting
that was a nice multi-tool
Hi, I soaked it in vinegar just to get the little bit of rust off and it looks really good. My husband already claimed it! Have a good evening.
wow the things u find on the beach. you never know what your gonna sit on lol
Hi Mary, yes, you don't know what you walk on or sit on!
And thanks for sharing how long it took to collect this, I know it’s frustrating when you don’t even find trash! Makes me question if I’m doing it wrong or my machine is not working right. Haha
I know what you mean, you just want to hear that machine find something!
Wow, it seems that you never know what lies in the sand. :)
Hi Federico, all you have to do is go out there and look around! Glad you came along on my adventure! Have a good night
I wish I had the quarter to penny ratio like you get. Nice multitool too. GL & HH. Sebastian. // Pozdrawiam
That is a pretty good ratio, others detecting there are getting the same! Happy Hunting Sebastian!
You never know what you will find. You got quite a mix of treasure. I love that you donate to the pets and kids. I enjoyed the video.
Thank you so much. It never seizes to amaze me all the "stuff" that people leave behind and all that washes up in high tide. I like to go out before sunrise and see what all is out there. Hurricanes and bad storms stir up that ocean and the result is all kinds of "treasures" end up on the beach!
Shame there wasn’t a message in the bottle. That crab was adorable thumbs up basia x
Hi Kate, no message in the bottle but instead it was on top of the bottle. All those living barnacles begging me to put them back in the water! Have a great day
✦ Great video!! ✦ Big like!! ✦
Thank you so much!

Hi Basia,
I don't remember seeing you searching in low tide before.
I would think items would be buried further down below the water line
Hi Dave, you are right, the heavier objects hide on the other side of that sand bar. I miss you miss Basha .with herican coming in to NC I thought of you RIP.
And where is your turtle from? 🙂 oh you just answered it haha, cool.
Hi, I picked it up at the Seafood Festival last weekend! Have a good great weekend!
Wow that's so much money now I guess I won't be back that's a shame they had such a cool gig going on Gone with the Wind.
What time of day is best for metal detecting on the beach?
Amazing video, great finds! Best of luck!! 👊🏻
Thank you so much! Have a great day!
The local authorities will be asking for taxes on your find LOL
Ha ha, I hope not! Thanks for coming along!
Who do you donate pull tabs to I find plenty of them in Norfolk
Ronald McDonald House
I like very beautiful
Thank you so much!
That's "cool I'ma go to the beach, and write a note in a bottle. And send it in the ocean
Edit:I got fined for littering
hay if your going to donate stuff, you can donate that pack of cigarretts to me, if ya want
Hi, I would if you lived closer!
lol i was just kidding
I was serious, somebody paid a lot of money on those Marlboros. I may just have to give it to some beach goers I see smoking out there.
i know,, here in florida they are 6 bucks a pack,, that is why i smoke genairic brands
