Manusmriti is just like many other manuscripts in ancient times. No one said it is relevant. There are many ancient manuscripts such as code of hamurabbi in Iran/Iraq was written during Persian civilization and many more. Therefore, these are just a code of conduct of that particular time and it is no longer relevant today. Besides that what thar MP mentioned was Manusmriti stated that women are prostitutes which is a false allegation. The Hindus here are following the constitution of India not Manusmriti (Manu Law).

The extant work is a version compiled by Bhigru, one of the disciples of Manu . Smrithi means Dharma Sastra . According to Manusmirithi there are four Castes or Varnas . Brahmim who has right to learn and right to teach Vedas . Kshriya only learn Vedas relating to rule the country ,Vyas only learn for business and occupations.Shudra fourth Varna have no right to learn Vedas but they have to work physical and manual . These are part of Vedic Religion.Others not come under this system are Out Castes and Adivasis .

In India, unfortunately in Tamil Nadu there is always a group which believes that status quo in the society has to be maintained and protected. They will not allow downtrodden people to move forward, otherwise their grip will be lost. The absence of a strong leader in Tamil Nadu helps these groups to grow. Initially Aryans did not have any dichotomy. As yours interpretation if there were only three classification initially with Aryans, how the Visayans got goods and services without production? The main function of fourth class is production of goods and services. These divisions (castes) came up in the society due to the specialization of occupations. During that time the entire society was functioning with full employment due to hereditary nature of occupations.

So much contradiction, so much finger pointing, so much confusion, iterations after iterations....all this to hide the underlying fact that majority of population have been either slaves / pseudo slaves for probably thousand of years and very few who were also incidentally makers of such rules gain riches and power from this process. There are many ancient manuscripts such as code of hamurabbi in Iran/Iraq was written during Persian civilization and many more. The extant work is a version compiled by Bhigru, one of the disciples of Manu . Smrithi means Dharma Sastra . According to Manusmirithi there are four Castes or Varnas . Brahmim who has right to learn and right to teach Vedas . Kshriya only learn Vedas relating to rule the country ,Vyas only learn for business and occupations.Shudra fourth Varna have no right to learn Vedas but they have to work physical and manual . These are part of Vedic Religion.Others not come under this system are Out Castes and Adivasis .
