@robwitdashifts is probably going to the first American drafted in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Dillingham is a score-first guard who constantly is putting pressure on the defense with his speed and erratic pull up jumpshots.
Dillingham’s biggest strength right now is his ability to catch and shoot from 3 point range. With his current shot mechanics, he dips the ball on every catch and given his size that causes uncontested shots to become contested.
Dillingham doesn’t think the game. He is looking to score and if it isn’t there he gives the ball up to whomever is closest to him. He lacks the ability to make difficult passes with either hand and that causes him to miss wide open teammates before the defensive gap closes.
He lacks natural point guard instincts and doesn’t read the game at the NBA Level.
His on ball defense is atrocious, not because of lack of physical ability, but because he hasn’t been taught how to defend at a high level.
Dillingham is going to need organized chaos to play how he wants with the 2nd unit. Once he becomes comfortable with the NBA game both physically and mentally, his NBA coaching staff is going to have to spend a lot of time teaching him how to read defenses.

i dont know if he has the size or physicality, he has microwave tendencies, physical skills and tech skills; great in spots, but doesnt have enough to dominate games from end to end, but if he gets hot he can get HELLA HOT.... but thats kinda where his ceiling is.. I dont know that he is willing to do the work or will be given the time necessary to develop that kind of improvement he will need to justify a high draft pick...plus the teams he will be going to wont be in a position to let him grow..they need him to impact

i cant help it......but your breakdown on some of his mistakes are accurate but here's the thing....he's 18 years old. like i get it. scouting him seeing his flaws and areas he needs to get stronger in but you could do that on litteraly every single player who's ever played. Then showing a clip of lou williams in year 15 comparing him to a 18 year old is funny AF. You're showing skills from nba players who been in the league for 7,8,9 years....D-Lo didn't learn catch hi shoot hi untill several years in the league. Im not so sure if and when he cleans some of these things up he still wont be a backup in the nba. he's tiny, always will be a liability on defense even if he gives more effort, and he's not a floor general. He's just not. But you def got me to watch because of your click baiting title. The nba is full of pg's now. it's the position that is most not needed right now. every team has a yound all star caliber or elite pg. well most teams do, so with rob it's going to be about where he lands. Becuase i think his ceiling is low in terms of his all around game. is he better than darius garland or colin sexton coming out of college??
