Part 2 is better than 1. I barely speak chinese but I didn’t have to read subtitles. Their facial expressions told it all, especially Gao Yuan Yuan. Their body language was so authentic, especially at the last 30 min. Gao doesn’t even have to speak, we can see what she is thinking bu looking at her. Both of these movies are in the top 5 HK movies of all time
Hello im watching this again and again !!! The feeling of part away of gao yuan2 dan zheng shanran very sadly...so many love signal of them...where u love is,how many u take that away but your eyes will not lie 😄
Dick move of her. The architect actually saved her life plus they helped each other when down. But from a psychology perspective it made sense, for the whole first movie she never got over the playboy, and in the second movie those feelings kept showing time and again. If you take into account both films, the protagonist ain't the girl, but the playboy. It's his story of how he ended up convincing the girl of his dreams to accept him and dump her fiancée. The second film shows him being unable to settle down with anyone other than her, so the ending, although shitty for the good guy, made sense from a storytelling perspective. The only thing that I can't get over is he killed the architect's frog :c
In a way it was foreshadowed from the getgo: her boss told her she always chose incorrectly. Plus, the architect was barely in the movie, so the audience would actually feel bad for the playboy.
Her situotion same with me but she chose the men she loved whereby i chosed the second and its not happy marriage but because of the vow during wedding so i only can walk forward ....
