This song is about the British occultist Aleister Crowley, who's magical moto was "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law, love is the law, love under will." Crowley was also a major opponent of the church and its dogmas and created the religion of Thelema, blatantly inverting their symbolism.

You definitely need to check out Iron Maiden on the Chanel. Their most recent stuff is as good of better than the old. But knowing you Empire Of The Clouds would be a good place to start.
but you have to react to Hallowed be thy name (live, 1982 in Hammersmith )...its mandatory...it would be difficult judging Iron Maiden without reacting to this one.
