This particular group of hakka people in this city are from Mauritius, Jamaica, Trinidad, India, S.Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia,......... and more. They are re-emmigrating from those countries mentioned. Many of them, their ancestors left meizhou 梅县100 more years ago. Hongkongers and Taiwanese Hakka are not interested to join this group may be because for some political reasons and cultural differences.
Indian Chinese speak authentic Hakka dialect. Little evolution - Just sounds 100 years ago's 原汁原味。 80% of Hakka people from Mauritius Mauritius knows no Chinese language. BUT very much Hakka at heart. Similarly the Jamaican Hakka. Hakka are like Jew. Not all Jewish speak Hebrews.

我就是梅州本地人，我們不會排外啦。畢竟廣東這邊都不排斥外來客因為我們也是中原遷徙過來的，才叫客家人哈哈
