There is a theory that the mc is Elio and it is part of Elio's plan. So far we have seen that the mc is capable of absorbing stellarons and obtaining new paths. It is just a guess but I think Elio is planning to unite all the paths into one existence and end the conflict between the various Aoens. Elio has the ability to foresee the future and the mc caught a glimpse of things to come while Nanook revealed himself. Atleast the probability is high that the mc is Elio.
