Online shops sell a lot of different chi-fi here and at this point I don't know how to discern between them since they kind of have the same style. Plus other brands are banned in Head-fi for doing some really shady stuff which makes research hard so thank you for making detailed and aesthetically pleasing reviews about some obscure chi-fi stuff.
@@SuperReview I know Wooeasy (and therefore Yinyoo... And therefore Kinboofi) is banned but there's a few of them I frankly don't remember. They're like hydras man, just like how KZ has CCA (and KB Ear I believe) these companies may just run off with another name but with basically the same everything.

But there are even certain individuals banned for questionable reasons such as NwAvGuy so I'm not sure if the brands headfi has banned from discussion are all banned for justified reasons.

I "rediscovered" my music of choice with the CCA C10 a few weeks ago and decided to buy a pair of good and comfortable IEMs. I came across your review of the K5... and pulled the trigger. I love them. So classy (in transparent), so comfortable... and I can't hear my annoying coworkers :) Still haven't found the perfect eartip though. Thank you. Edit : found the perfect eartip >> SpinFit CP100 (SS). Although a couple of the included tips did fell nice, not one compares to the SpinFit... really worth it.

However, the chi-fi market has blossomed with such affordable great products lately i feel you can get better for so much cheaper these days. Like the Blon bl-03 for example or the Shuoer Tape and BQEYZ Spring 1. If you enjoy these a lot though I highly recommend you look into the magaosi mgs-401

Depends on your sound preferences honestly. Tin T2 and T3 are my favorite budget options. Moondrop Crescent also really good. Blon BL-03 is popular now and a great option for bassheads.

I haven't tried the DM7, but I definitely prefer the K5 to the DM6. K5 is brighter, stronger on clarity, and I think comparable in image size (maybe a bit better). K5 not as bassy as DM6.

I've seen it listed, but I haven't heard any impressions of the Pro. IMO, the bass levels on the K5 are perfect -- wouldn't mind more dynamic driver body, but more volume isn't something I think I'd want.
I much prefer the K5 to the DM6. DM6 is a warmer V sound, less emphasis on midrange. If I were to re-review the DM6, I'd probably give it 3/5 honestly.
I think these stage a bit better than OH10, but the difference between them is much more in tonality & bass texture. These are a bit brighter & midrange focused, while OH10 is a bit more V w/ sub-bass emphasis.
@@SuperReview A reseller told me KZ took care of all the problem in the black version which came out first rather prematurely. With the white version which came out just recently being 100pc stable. But who knows...

I tried the MagAosi MGS 401. I ended up sending them back because there was a buzzing in one of the headphones. So I don't know if the pair I had was totally defective. I didn't care for the sound signature.
@@SuperReview The tuning was what I would describe as being harsh in the treble. I wouldn't say sibilant but I couldn't listen to them for very long. I tried to fix it with EQ no amount of EQ could fix those. I don't know if it was because they were damaged.
It's interesting, have you found yet IEMs so good that you can say that they are the only IEMs one needs, and going beyound the price of them isn't going to bring something mind-blowing anymore?
Honestly, these K5s are that for me. If you took away my entire collection and told me I could have just one, I'd get the K5 again. Combination of solid tonality, great sound presentation, outstanding fit + comfort, and it looks dope.

Really... I have of course the KPH 30i..., but these I felt are like ok or great for the price, but when you get deeper into the game you kind of now you have them appreciate them but very rarely use them...😁 but maybe not ❤️
I know you said you're kidding, but I could see some people preferring one or the other. Personally, I much prefer the K5s, more midrange and detailed sound, while the Blons are a warmer, bassier sound.

I use these as my main IEMs for drums. They’re the best ones for the price. I know the bass BA driver is a Knowles which is why the price is so high.

I would not expect a change in the sound with a cable, no. IMO, cable upgrades are all about aesthetics and handling, not sound.

Please reviewTRN BA5. It is also a 5 BA IEM that people say sounds really good.

To be honest, not very often, no -- Blessing 2 does everything I like about K5, but next level.
I have OH10s, are these worth grabbing? Mostly care about soundstage.

I haven't heard every KZ, but every KZ I've heard is not even close to these IMO.

How do they compare to meizu live?
Very different tuning. Meizu Live is a bit warm, mid-bassy; K5 is more mid-forward and a bit bright. I prefer the Magaosis.
@@SuperReview checkout the takstar pro 82 for around 50$ on aliexpress, they can't be beaten. Also I think they should be around 80$ on Amazon.

Mm I register No.3 as having stronger sub-bass than Blons. But it's a bit goofy. I prefer the sound of the Blons.

what about the Magaosi DQ4?
Haven't tried it. The shape of the DQ4 looks pretty average (versus these K5s fitting amazing). I expect it's a quite different earphone.

Really... I have of course the KPH 30i..., but these I felt are like ok or great for the price, but when you get deeper into the game you kind of now you have them appreciate them but very rarely use them...😁 but maybe not ❤️

Verrrry different sounds, really depends on your preferences. Personally I think the K5 blows the No.3 out of the water 🤷♀️

I know you said you're kidding, but I could see some people preferring one or the other. Personally, I much prefer the K5s, more midrange and detailed sound, while the Blons are a warmer, bassier sound.

I'm curious about your thoughts on audiosense T180, can you give me some of your thoughts?
Currently I have a pair of t260, I can't use them without eq, I use 2 modes, one is a slight touch on the bass and the other is a u shaped eq.
I want to know about T180 because I want to compare them with this one.
I got T180 out of curiosity. Fit is really nice, but sound is pretty meh.

Flat, warm, funky upper mids. This is based off memory, been a while since I listened to them. The fit is great, though.
