Welcome to the Arattupuzha Pooram, one of the oldest temple festivals of the world! Pooram is held at the Sree Sastha Temple in Thrissur, Kerala, India for a period of seven days each year. Believers say that at this 'conclave', all Gods and Goddesses gather during the time period of the Pooram. Known as Mother of all Poorams.

The Kootiezhunallippu is to show arrival of Lord Vishnu with his consort Sree Devi and Bhudevi. At that moment the place is equal to Vaikuntha. Here Triprayar Thevar who is Lord Rama is Vishnu and Urakathamma is Devi Lakshmi who stands to left side of Triprayar Thevar accompanied by Lord Chathakkudam Shasthavu and Bhudevi is Cherpu Bhagavathy who stands to right side of Triprayar Thevar..

What's the name of the main Deity for this event.

We can't say a main diety . The pooram is hosted at Arattupuzha temple where Lord Sastha as Vasishta sankalpa is the diety. But on the day of pooram night when the Star Swathi (called Chothi in Malayalam) appears in the sky, at that time Thriprayar Thevar who is Lord Rama arrives as Lord Vishnu. From that moment Lord Rama is main diety till the end of pooram.
