Noooo Otumfour Osei tutu has never done odwira before, when Nana Okyere Kusi Aduako II was swearing an oath of allegiance to Sikadwa, Otumfour said that he will perform odwira now that Nana Kusi Aduako II has come, Otumfour said he wanted to do it during the time of Nana Oduro Nimapau II era but Nana Oduro Nimapau II wasn’t feeling well and due to that he was not able to perform odwira and Nana Oduro Nimapau II passed on to the village. Otumfour even went on to say that, during the time of Kwame Nkrumah Asanteman was stopped for performing odwira because they thought it involved with human sacrifice anytime Asanteman performed odwira and since then Asanteman has never performed Odwira again
