This was Bob's big tune for Fleetwood Mac, so its understandable that Lyndsey's singing of the tune isn't up to how Bob sang it, BUT that kick-ass guitar solo that Lyndsey lies down is awesome! Christine McVie's Hammond playing is almost call and response with Lyndsey's guitar solo. Also, you can't beat the powerhouse of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. By this time in their careers, these two guys have been playing together for about 8 years. Such tight bass and drum playing on this track. Thanks for posting this one!
Seems like a dream, me up on stage with my band friends! It’s been a little over fifty years! Fleetwood Mac! Is the reason why I am still playing! Yeah seems like a dream 💭
I wasn't a big Bob Welch fan. But this is one of his songs that I always loved. In his absence... I think Christine should have done the lead vocal on this one... staying with that smooth vocal tone of Welch's original version.
Lol! Noooo Bob Welch had the unmistakably distinct tone on his Les Paul. A'la French Kiss! Not Lindsey. The French Kiss Album has some of the best Les Paul tones you'll ever hear.
I think it's Bob Weston's slide guitar playing on the studio version that makes this one of my favorite tunes of all time. A good amount of volume really makes it stand out. A great musical era.
Bob Welch did the lead vocal on the original track. But Christine's smooth sultry voice would be great on it. I think she would have been a much better choice than Lindsay, to take the lead on this one, with Welch gone.

I believe they ended their set with it. Little Feat was the opening act! Wish I could remember more!.
amazing to see them so early in the stage of developing the new Fleetwood Mac. Obviously Lindsey hasn't got the song down vocals-wise, but I loved the guitar he slipped in there. Thanks for sharing. Remember to keep this in perspective.....This is in the days when people would reply "Stevie who?"
