I've been dreading starting to play piano for 5 years and I am 20 years now, tomorrow morning I am finally going t step out of my comfort zone and buy this keyboard, it seems a great keyboard for beginners.

There is sustain if u look closely there is a button named function if you hold that button and press the key with sustain written on top u will enable sustain

This keyboard is for kids to play as a toy or people how want to have it for use it not often. But with this kind of keyboards you can't deploy any of your potential. This is because the sensation you get on a hammered keyboard isn't the same.
If we compare this keyboard to Casio CTK1300 for the same price, casio looks far more modern and expensive like this unit. The reason for this is that Yamaha is producing very expensive stuff and they are more oriented on development of music instruments on a higher level. This cheap level is not important for the survival of company, so they don`t invest much. Casio on the other hand lives from entry to mid level rank, so they have to make things as much good as it is possible for the price.

hangebicom Yeah, I'm surprised they still make these and sell them for new keyboard prices. There's nothing new about them. I bet you could take them apart and the internals would be exactly the same as a 90's model. Even its outer appearance is straight from the 90's. It's actually pretty laughable that Yamaha are still churning these out after all these years. I have a feeling the only people who still buy them are grandparents as birthday gifts for their grandchildren.

You can get this for £90 or less. Unless you are going to play classical, which you probably won't if you're a beginner, I would highly recommend this keyboard. In fact, you can have mine for the right price (I'm not joking)(It is in pristine condition)(hit me up if you're serious)
Everybody in the comments saying things like "good keyboard, I am buying it soon", but if you see their answers some time later, they always say "I bought a better one"... So, it is not worth it, unless if you are a teenager learning keyboard. If you have some experience or idea about music, 100% sure you are going to sell it later and waste your money... So, better saving and buying one a little bit better.

At least the Casio CTK-3500 has more sounds as well as touch sensitive keys. Some of the sounds on the Casio CTK-3500 are better than Yamaha. Casio have always had better e piano and organ sounds.

you need a MIDI keyboard; f.x. M-Audio Oxygen 61 MkIV is a good one (especially for beginners). It also comes with Ableton Live I think
F-51 doesn't come with a midi port.
