I was born and raised in one of the most , if not the only religiously diverse country in the world. Let me give you a hint. It's in the Balkans. We had Jews, Muslims, Christian Catholics and Orthodox living in peace for generations and still continue to today. I have no religious bias at all. I can tell you with absolute certainty that the Arabic influence in the Balkan music, which came via the Ottoman 'Empire is an absolute beauty. It also influenced Spanish music as well, it's called Flamenco. It gave Spanish music a soul. There are sounds in the eastern world that the western world can never comprehend. The emotion in this guy's voice is like a message from the distant past. it is the eternal human condition of being lost and yarning for purpose in this world. IS that a conventional clarinet? I guess that’s just some kind of pickup sticking out near the mouthpiece, but just HOW does he bend the notes as widely as he does?! I haven’t played that instrument since I was a kid.

@@cornela1 Hey, sorry for my late reply. I often listen to Mark Eliyahu and Homayoun Shajarian. you may like Nedaye Eshgh by Seventh Soul & Shajarian. Enjoy!
Absolutely magical and transcendent. Amazing is that moment at 5:41 when Dhafer tries to get closer to the clarinet player, realises his lead is too short, grimaces at 5:45 in slight frustration, then accepts it as part of the here and now, and goes straight back into the 'zone.'

+Tomasz Szczęsny Listening to him just on ytube puts the person in a spiritual state, I can't imagine listening and having a taste of his music live !!
Absolutely beautiful. Plays his voice like an instrument, incredible talent, I've never heard such a clean high crisp note from a male singer (and most female singers too)
Getting off from work at 10 PM and hearing this on bus. All day long caught up with materialism and financials. This reminds the soul of where it really belong. ☮️🇱🇰
Thank you for existing Dhafer Youssef. This song is heavenly, so pure, full of true emotions. The way it starts sad, praying for the eternal truthfully. Then the deliverance, the catharsis, the joy at the end. Thank you again for all the musicians.

Such a beautiful, purifying and a blessing of a piece. Tears running down my skin, creating a pool of liquid greaf. Clearing the space to be filled with Love again. Thank you! Much Love to everyones hearts ❤
I can't remember how I found this some years ago, but today it randomly came to my thoughts and I've totally forgot all about it. Then I typed :tunisian spiritual music and here I am again.. lost in this beautiful work or art❤

It doesn't matter where are your from, what you pray to or if you even do it: this is mystical.
It does matter as music generates from cultures. Music depends mainly on two things; senses and emotions and those are massively affected by culture and the surround environment. Absolutely beautiful. Plays his voice like an instrument, incredible talent, I've never heard such a clean high crisp note from a male singer (and most female singers too)
Le langage des oiseaux...

November Anyone?😢
@@loreaubertrand4701 merci 🙏
This is deep on so many levels. A lifetime of art, emotions and expressions are bound to the core of this harmony.
I close my eyes and see my whole life pass by while listening to this track.
