Some kitties are so feral, it is best to have them out doors. Provide her with a safe/warm structure outside, and provide her with fresh water and food. She will remain out of reach, but can still add a measure of gratefulness for your companionship.
First off, I appreciate the tremendous patience she took with 'Little Miracle'. Having a feral cat with a temper and trust issues is challenging. That being said, I would've done things very differently; no offense intended, as caring for a feral cat is a great thing. - I wouldn't poke things at the cat's face, that's intimidating and a challenge towards them. - Please don't pet a feral cat's head too hard; don't have their head bounce up and down, be gentle with light strokes. - Please don't throw food at them. Place it in a bowl and create distance between them and the bowl. Extend the distance slowly over time, making them earn and trust the distance they have to travel for their food. - Please don't verbally exclaim your surprise when they react the way you wish them to, it may startle them. Minimize your reaction as if it was something you always expected. - Please don't corner a feral cat. When she was trying to pet it with her gloved hand, Little Miracle saw that as a threat. As it was cornered, there was no choice but to assume an aggressive response. And if you must use a glove, make sure the outer part is heavily scented with your scent. - Sit with it and speak softly, even to a point that it falls asleep. Creating a tranquil atmosphere will soothe the beast inside of the cat. Many times, I try not to even make eye contact, as they may interpret that as a challenge. - If you need to use a cage, create an area within it that the cat can hide. Slowly but surely, the cat will come to not needing that area as it builds trust and security with its new surroundings. - Lastly, you know that you've turned the corner in winning its trust when it starts to turn it's back to you. If it's not having to keep you in its sight line, then it's beginning to trust you. Just some thoughts...
@@VilmaSalet-x8g Thank you, I just hope that no one takes offense to the advice I offer. I'm in the process of coaxing two cats that have wandered into my yard this past week, so it is a matter of practicing what I've written. One does seem a little braver than the other, so that one may not be a challenge. The main thing for me is to bring them into the fold we have here already, and that does seem possible. They are all different, and that's the thing to respect.
@@bettyyap590 Kinder and gentler is often the trick. I try to be very patient, as becoming accustomed to me is on their terms. Ultimately, it's wonderful when they come to feel safety and security from us. Among my kitties, I have a 3 1/2 month old kitten named Moonie. Another cat hissed softly at her the other day, and she ran under me for protection...we can't beat that kind of love and confidence. When they feel that we'll always be there for them, that's heaven on Earth. They are all furry-balls-of-joy!
She may have been severely abused resulting in this kind of behavior. Poor thing. Watching more, she flinches when petted with that thick glove. Yeah, unfortunately she's been thru something. Someone previously didn't know how to properly treat animals. She's a gorgeous calico. 😊. She was very afraid of that glove, you should've stopped using it. That set her back several steps.

If you need love . . . get a dog. Over the years I have adopted several cats off the street, who were either strays or ferals. The ferals especially, which this kitten seem to be take time and will probably never be 'cuddlers'. You are too much in the cat's face, especially when you're bopping it's head with a big glove. Many cats never like their faces touched, even if you've had them for years. You need to give that kitten it's space. It has been traumatized. Stay back, try dragging a string or toy mouse near it and get it to watch, be patient, don't corner it. It all takes time. Lots of time. Thank you for being kind enough to take on what may seem like a thankless task. 💕 When they come around, it's incredibly rewarding.
yes the gloves are a bad thing who knows what kind of life the kitten had before her getting it do not eer force a cat let it come to you whatever you were poking at it .the poor animal thought you were going to hit it.

@ sensible and caring advice shouldn’t offend anybody. After all we are all here to help each other and that is a wonderful thing.
It’s imprisoned in a cage! Let her out the cage to get to know the house, and become comfortable with her environment.
DIE KLEINE KATZE BRAUCHT ZEIT FÜR DAS VERGESSEN DES ERLEBTEN
Let her go in her own time. I had a cat that didn’t come round for a year.

Cats see us by the scent. Hunan see cats by the color and shape. The woman can stop using perfume or change to a different perfume. Hope this helps.

On day 50 once the cat was all fattened up she sold the cat to the Lady that owns the Korean BBQ.
