She is such a beautiful girl, and I think she is a good girl as well. It's just that she really wants him, and doesn't understand why he doesn't want her. Honestly, I would have chose her if I was him long ago. She really does seem like a very good fit with him, but for some reason, she didn't awaking that side of him, and that's his choice.
She should have told him long ago that she liked him. Instead, he only keep her as a friend, more like family. So many of these drama's have people hoping to be noticed for years.... If they had just spoken up, they would have learned if that person like them in that way or not.
You can't force someone to like you. Either they do, or they don't. If your just friends for too long, and you've always wanted more, but never said, that other person will shift you into the friends/family box, and you may never get them to see you any other way. So it's better to speak up, then let to much time pass.
The more beautiful the girl, the less likely you'll end up with her. Also the smaller the window of time you'll have to take your shot, because there will be many other guys wanting to try to win her as well. This is true the other way around.
So, be careful to protect your heart, but don't wait long, and always remember, it's up to them to like your or not. If they don't, well that's sad, but move on. Plenty of other fish in the sea. Just like you only like who you like, they have that same right. You can't force it, no matter how much you think your the best guy, or girl for that person.
The ONE for you, will always be someone that you don't have to try hard for, because they want to be with you as well. You shouldn't have to jump throw hoops for them. You'll have a much better chance at a successful relationship, if you're both highly attracted to each other, as well as liking similar things, because attraction will only get you so far.

I understand that she has liked him for a long time and is finding it hard to let go, but there has to be some limits and at some point your self respect has got to kick in. What I cannot wrap my head around is the argument that they should be together because their friends always thought they would end up together. WTH?! Did she think he was going to marry her to please their friends?
I also do not understand the "we've known each other for so long" argument. That argument actually works against you, not for you. Let's look at this logically. He has known you forever and has never once taken an interest or behaved in a romantic fashion towards you - not even in a way that could be mistaken for romantic. And what, you think that now that he is in a committed relationship with someone else he is suddenly going to have a "eureka!" moment and realize that you are the one? He has had a ton of opportunities to be with you - especially since you have be trying to ingratiate yourself the entire time, and never once made a move.
I also get being willing to fight for your love, but not after they are already married. That is just shady - especially since you know that he likes her and his family does too. And if you loved him as much and knew him as well as you claimed, then his response to someone threatening or hurting his wife should have been predictable. Even if it were a contract or arranged marriage, he would still act like that because he would see it as an attack and insult to him as it was his wife and his pride wouldn't allow it. Also, he would respond like that just because he knows it is how he should respond. Truthfully, if you loved him as much as you claim then you never would have hurt someone he cares about. I think it is less about love and more about that she always expected things to turn out a certain way and now that it isn't, she does not know how to deal.
I totally agree! And if she truly loved him and knew him then she’d know that if she messed with his relationship all it would do is push him away from her not closer! Like what was she thinking oh if I hurt his wife that will make him like me?!?
