Thnk u for sharing the build process. I am building one too but is having problems obtaining the right handlebar and stem. The stem I bought does not seem to fit the handlebar. What would be the correct diameter to fit the fork and handlebar? I bought Deda Quattro stem and Deda element dropbar. Thnk u In advanced.
Sent this by a rider who ask me for my thoughts on it. Very nice old stock frame, highest quality at the time of production. Mated with latest Campagnolo Record groupset & current deep rim carbon wheels. Not really a fitting match but each to their own. With the same budget I'd recommend a lesser value current groupset & lighter/stiffer current carbon frame with same wheels. Or same frame & a new old stock groupset from the same era, with era wheels to match. As for the building of it. Could be better or worse. Alot comes with experience & knowledge. Plus as others have stated, why such a long steerer tube? Is it for a old gentleman with flexible issues, yet loves the frame? & anything bigger would be too long a seat tube & top tube length? Otherwise, why?
It's a Colnago Master X Light 30th anniversary, so it's a 2013 model. It probably should have had 11 speed groupset from 2013 instead of the new 12 speed group they put on, but that looks similar anyway. They still make the Master frames.
Colnago Manila retail I'm afraid this is not a good advert for you as It shows the mechanic lacks the basic knowledge how to prepare and build up a metal frame properly. A poor treatment of a premium product - extremely disappointing 🤯

Very beautiful bike frameset and very good groupset and wheelset, but why did you make it very ugly and installed so many spacers on the fork??? It's a road racing bike not a stupid mtb.Who wants spacers gets a mtb
Agree shonky work, sadly with some nice premium kit. Apparently no facing of BB or HT on a new metal frame - good luck having parallel surfaces. Complete bodge of steerer tube length to frame size but we all know that it's because it's a small frame that will be sold to a much larger rider who actually needs several frame sizes larger to get the correct head tube size. Riders with with any sense or knowledge would simply walk away 😱

4:36 handlebar tape should be put on from inside to outside, left side = anti-clockwise, right side = clockwise.

It's a Master X Light 30th anniversary model from 2013, (decal at top of seat post). They still make the Master frames.
