It comes down to who can save their body before the run. They all can run.

@@TravisNelsondjcrome They can all run but none can run like Gwen. She'd beat everyone if it was just a 10K race.

Yeah, they had a little argument about who should lead because of the wind. Spirig was trying to tire out Jorgensen. At the finish line, they didn’t hug at first either but hugged everyone else

Just found out America invented the triathlon so that's why we win, same with all Olympics sports it seems, invented all of them maybe

This is the only gold medal the USA have ever won in triathlon, previously the USA had won a bronze in the women's event in 2004.

Okay, but did she not just ride the other woman's wind the whole time? Idk if the medal is "well-deserved" if she just took advantage of other people... It might be an accepted tactic in this sport, but it just looks like poor sportsmanship to me. Maybe I'm wrong, idk.

@@makelovenotwar9941 Are you kidding here? :D it is a well-known fact that it gives a huge advantage. I do triathlon, and I can do 30-32km/h for the bike leg if I am alone, but if I am behind someone, even 35 km/h feels like less effort.
