The thing is these colours look lovely together so if I had to pick one out it doesn't seem fair... one ought to have all of them ... Lovely video, alas the camera didn't get the embossing on the nib though Which would be the best sailor pen to buy, value for money, that is? Since I have more pens then I can use yet still don't have a pilot VP, sheaffer heritage which are on my to get list
Revamped Sailor Junior ? The nib is the same steel MF that is on Lecoule, Junior and Professor models. It is a very nice nib that produces a very fine line.
*lone wolf* looks can be deceiving, JinHao , Monza and many other companies have cheap knockoffs, All Sailor fountain pens are manufactured and made in Japan. Sailor is a world class brand!
I just purchased one of these and am very disappointed with it. It's extremely light and feels very cheap. The converter is the same color as the pen. Big whoop! The medium / fine nib is very fine and very dry. Watch the review again and see how thin it is. No flex at all. For $39.20, you can by two Pilot Metropolitans.. If this is the lead into a 1911 standard, they picked the wrong pen
Unfortunately Sailor pens don't have flex not even the ones with 14k or 21k gold nobs that I have & the majority of them are light. They are great inexpensive writers, i think there is a big difference between cheap and inexpensive, these pens are not cheap, monza and jinhao knockoffs are cheap. I have had no hard starts for me and I have 3 colors with my favorite inks. My first one that I bought was a Profit Jr at least 5 years ago and it still writes as well as it did back then...
It the sailor profit junior rebranded as the compass
Finally!!! A Sailor fountain pen I can afford!!!

A Japanese watch for a japanese pen. Do you think that Sailor and Grand Seiko are somewhat similar in positioning in their relative markets?
