it's funny when the Magistrate accidentally hit himself in the head trying to pick up the back scratcher; it's like one of the those slapsticks in comedy where someone got hit in the face with a rake.
This is absolutely delightful to watch this episode again after 20+ years after. Thanks for the posting ! Brings back so much memories…this show teaches children many different things… ancient days in China : a little bit of history, culture, language and family values & most of all a gorgeous family of royalty cats that speaks Lol ! Love the bat Fufu and the Emperor !
I know, right? and next year is the 25th anniversary of the sagwa the chinese siamese cat tv series, and i wish that warner bros would make a computer live action movie version of sagwa the chinese siamese cat while the human characters from the imperial palace would be played by asian film actors and actresses and child actors and actresses while the cat characters and bat characters and mice characters and dog characters and rabbit characters and fish characters will be in computer animation for live action cats, rabbits, dogs, bats and mice and fish and fufu the bat would be voiced by steven brucemi and Nai nai miao the grandmother cat would be voiced by roseanne barr.
Tai-Tai sure lacks some logic sense. She initially accuses Sagwa of eating the swan, despite the fact that there's no possible way a cat could devour a bird that size!
Not gonna lie, I got a little choked up over Nai-Nai and Yeh-Yeh comparing the petals to their grandchildren.

Haha! Hilarious!
The ending is actually pretty cute "swans are meant to fly free"
Thanks for the better sound quality
"Happy Anniversary!" = Zhōunián kuàilè (週年快樂)
Back scratchers really are quite useful

Hahaha when the magistrate totally snagged the back scratcher with just a "OOOH!!"
Happy Anniversary to Them
It would be cool if the cats actually talked to the humans.
The Chinese word for "Swan" is:
"Tiān'é (天鵝)"

Nate Hausmann the neck 🤣
@WildKamots Hey. Why do you think the Alley Cats from the show are better than Barney when I like both?
Well, she caught herself and realized how silly that idea was
