Bought a '10' Soul brand new, well over 120k have been clocked, no rust, runs like a top, color me impressed. I was skeptical at first, as a Jeep (Wrangler) owner for as long as I can remember However as fuel costs was skyrocketing, I needed something economical and whilst a Jeep lover, the Compass and Patriots (faux Jeeps, imo) were not doing it for me. While I initially felt buying a Soul was a major downgrade, it seemed to fill the bill for what I needed. Well 4 years have passed an no issues, and as I touched on earlier, she has chalked up 120k, I have been throughly impressed with the Soul, so much so, that I am looking at a '14 or '15' model by year's end.
I want a silver or black soul sport fully loaded, I will make sure I work to get it. It's a fantastic car. It has everything I want in a car, great sound system, great safety features, bluetooth, lots of space, incredibly great looks, This is my car. I always wanted to get a Mazda 3 for those reasons, however, this is much cheaper than a Mazda3.
Very nice review. I think this is gunna be my first car. I like the exterior design it's sleek and great looking. I LOVE the exterior! It's really cool! The most important feature of a car for me is the iPod jack, and that comes standard! And I love the speakers thy light up, that's bad-ass. Can't wait to drive that car.
Great car. My wife has one like in this video. Sunroof is great. The lights in the speakers are kind of lame. If you turn the volume up they just pretty much stay lit. Love the car though and hope to buy a 2011 for myself soon!
I love boxy or eggy- oval shaped cars..from the Kia soul hatch batch, Kia Rio 5 , and the peugout 107 and Mazda 5 ... They're so cute and different imo.
i know thats what i want the black with red and black int. My mom promised to get me one if i finish the college nursing class im in which is a total trick cuz she knows im about to quit it since im horrible at it....but im still dying to have this car.
@steva30 No problems at all. We've put over 10K miles on it already and nothing wrong whatsoever. Still want to buy myself one sometime in the future. Can't beat the price.
they need to drop the 1.6L and put the 2.0L in the base and + models, make the 2.4L an option in the ! and standard on the sport. also i think leatherette seating should be an option at least. lose the 4spd auto and replace it w/ a 5spd auto. another thing i think should be done is to drop the white color in exchange for orange and blue, but keep the remaining colors. this, however is just my opinion. i would like to see a hybrid version of this car. it is so cute!
i think the interior was given alot more thought than the kia's was given, tho i like the color scheme for the (!) and (sport) models. i am glad, however, that the kia has a larger engine while still maintaining nearly identical hwy mpgs. i just wish the kia could match the nissan's city mpg.

I've driven my grandma's '05 Rio SX a lot though and it has way too much rust on it for 6 year old vehicle with 35k miles. I drive a '97 Pontiac Bonneville with 200k miles that doesn't have any rust on it whatsoever.
i would too, however, i also think it would be nice if they gave it a 2.0L TDI. can we say AMAZING MPG?!? now that i think is worthy of a "holy shit." if i dont say so myself

Saw a black one with black rims at the dealership, these things look pretty sweet, way better than the box on wheels(scion)!

you cant get replacment parts for the door handles anywhere and they are made of plastic and all break eventually
