I always instale the faucet on the sink outside to make it easier to tighten, rather than crawling under the sink and jamming your fingers in tight space to tighten. But both ways work, the important is to make the customer satisfied from your work nice video.

Gasket is good but use clear silicone around the edges when done.

This is an odd video. One of the advantages to replacing a sink and faucet together is not having to crawl into the back of the cabinet to install the faucet and supply lines from the bottom.
It is easier to assemble the drain baskets and faucet with supply lines before dropping the sink into the hole. You will need to test fit the sink assembly before tightening everything up.
