I always instale the faucet on the sink outside to make it easier to tighten, rather than crawling under the sink and jamming your fingers in tight space to tighten. But both ways work, the important is to make the customer satisfied from your work nice video.
@@msheart2Pretty sure they mean installing fixtures in the space and light before dropping the sink into the cabinet. Then just attach supply lines to shutoff, drain for dishwasher and drain lines to sink bowls in the "dark."
I'm really surprised that this came from Home depot. .They made it sooooooo much harder than what it really is. Disconnect the water supply lines at the shut off area. When you pull out the sink, you can disconnect them after. Also install the basins, faucet, water lines and sprayer on the new sink BEFORE you put it in. Any work you can do before you install makes it so much easier that trying to install when your upside down under the sink. The sink fasteners are usually 4 in the back and front part of the sink and 2-3 on each side. If you put these on before you put the sink in they will fall off when you turn the sink right side up. So turn the sink right side up and rest on the basins and slide all the fasteners in then. Also BEFORE you put the sink in run the bead of caulk around the edge of the countertop ( not the sink). When you put the silicone on the sink it will run off when you turn it upside down Enjoy
This is an odd video. One of the advantages to replacing a sink and faucet together is not having to crawl into the back of the cabinet to install the faucet and supply lines from the bottom. It is easier to assemble the drain baskets and faucet with supply lines before dropping the sink into the hole. You will need to test fit the sink assembly before tightening everything up.
I saw another video where the man sprayed all raw edges of the mdf worktop and applied sealant to those edges for prote tiin against eater leaking through the edge going under the sink.
She should have thought of the next victim. This guy needs to be in prison. It's not just her and she was lucky in this instance, the next victim might not be lucky. How would she feel reading about it in the papers?
I love how they make it look so easy , if you are changing a old sink is not gonna look so clean and shiny down in the cabinets
Clean them lazy
they are teaching a concept and you are supposed to apply it to your specific situation. I hope this helps!
Mind is not made of hard board, it's wood, I can imagine what would happen to this cabinet floor if there was a leak.
These roster builds are great!
Use pillows and cushions…. Like yes we all know we are 35 or older

You install it out side?

Instructions unclear, I’m now on an FBI watchlist.
Great job
How are you the only comment in 7 years!
Should I put caulking in as well as the gasket, or is the gasket enough?
Gasket is good but use clear silicone around the edges when done.
@@spenceryelinek4313 Thank you, will do :)
NEVER CAULK AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF A SINK. WTF
@@kennethmerrill812 why?

List of tools and supplies you need should be at the beginning of the video instead of the end
How much do your cost to change sink and countertop??
For me about $5800.
Can you put plumbers tape from the kitchen sink drain connection to the drain tube ?
You can but is not necessary
I like black caulk
You lost me at jigsaw
Lol buying one is good in the long run or just borrow one from a friend or family member.
Mine was like a quarter inch off, just used a bastard file to knock some off very easy and low stress
Just watch the saw movie 😂
Just get good at puzzles
Doesn't explain a bit about having a disposer.
