To be honest, i always knew that there are many Subcategories, when it comes to Polite-Speech in Japanese, but i never learned their Names, so i just knew them as Keigo in General, but i never made any Efforts, to dig deeper and, to learn more about them. 😅 From now on i refer to the Desu- and Masu-Form as Teinego. As it should be refered to. 😊 But, i don't know, if i ever attempt to learn the other two old Ones. Let alone those two new Ones, if i understood correctly. 😅 I don't plan to live in Japan in the near Future. Nor do i plan on marrying into a japanese Family. Frankly, learning them would be to much of a Hassle for a Foreigner, with small Ambitions regarding living in Japan, like me. 😅😅😅 For visiting this interesting Country basic Teinego-Skills are more than sufficient. Just my humble Opinion. 😄

Yeah, exactly. We used to call it teineigo while the super difficult polite expressions were called keigo, like degozaimasu.
