- Welcome back to the channel, join me today as I repair the rear subframe on this 2020 Volkswagen Atlas. I had to remove the entire frame just to straighten out the control arm bracket!

C'mon people hit the like button it's free, just saying from North of Newcastle 🇬🇧 😢😢
I did! And I do every video!!
Gotta say, your content has surpassed those other goofs in Chat-town. No clowning, no terrible acting with skater boy slang, just good ole’ fashion skilled talent. You da bomb Yuri.
Chat town, you da bomb, but talking about skater slang…..🌽
That exhaust re-bend was amazing!!! Kudos for that
People that work with you never get tired. You are so funny, man
I have said it before and I will say it again, You are a true Craftsman Yuri. I know the tools of that name have become cheaper China made junk and the word does not carry the weight it used to but it means a master of his or her craft. You really know how to straighten and repair automotive frames.
Dear Yuriv,
How clever is the way you’ve fixed the rear wheel suspension of the Volkswagen Atlas. You’re for me the one of a kind magician in relation to car repairing. I know understand a lot better why Jason Morrison asked you to fix the Austin Healy Sprite for him. I’m keen to watch your next episode and send you love from the Netherlands
I appreciate the video
Stay safe and be well. God bless.
There you are mate wast all about ,that’s not a bad south London accent! Tony Uk
I need to move up there for a year and really get it down 😆
For dat 36...go full on gangsta! They'll see it a coming from 2 miles away. 💯🗽🇺🇸
Satin black with center lock hubs and me in a pin stripe suit with a Tommy gun
Need to push that FORD back outside and bring the C10 in for some love it deserves. First primer at a minimum, just saying.
I agree with this statement
Never underestimate a Hippo, they kill more people than any wild animal (in Africa)....I think its a tough choice, a hippo will make a medium hefalump run ! Thanks for the video.
I challenge the mighty hippopotamus to a duel 🤺
Sense they only exist in poohs and piglets dreams, all you can do is gather around drinking DR. PEPPERS passing a 9/16 wrench around and speculating.
you are going to loose and I say this because as strong and tough as you are a Hippo is angry from birth BIG TUSKS@@23RD AND THEY EAT BOATS FOR TEA TIME SNACKS.
@@mfc4591 haha you are right, he would win, but I would never hurt such an amazing creature ❤️

Thank you for the video Yuri! Enjoy watching your content.
WOW, you are astounding, both as an entertaining host of your channel and as the wizard of unbending and rebending and heating and welding and all things relating to vehicle fixing..
Thank you very much, i am beyond grateful for all you guys ❤️
Awesome effort, keep that hard honest work ethic going. Always enjoy the content.
Keep it going mate

Stay up brother 💪
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
Very few of the younger generation have your skill-you are a pleasure to watch
✌️👍
I like the way you fast-forward the videos to save important content time. Very very good administration by the producer. Makes you want to watch more...Good Job!
Should have boxed it in a bit or capped it ...good job anyway
I would have if it was any other control arm besides the upper one, which doesn’t real get stressed as much unless it gets hit. Thank you for the compliment 🙏
Nice content! Would be interesting to see how that ol’ ford turns out. When are you planning to finish the beautiful looking m3 sitting and collecting dust
I have a plan for the Beemer, most will probably not like it but I guess we can’t please everybody 😅
@@23RD It’s better to be hated for who you are, than loved for who you’re not
Going to say, as kids you & your bros were very good at puzzles. Making it look easy. 💪🏽
Find your work issues of doing the work right and spot on are very interesting! Enjoy your blog very much!
@08:12 Tell Vtunned to get back to work...! Stop chilling out on 23rd Garage ...!
He said he likes it here 🤷♂️
I would Never say that if it's in a accident again it's the next guys issue.
Always maintain it is 100%safe with the repair you did in respect to repairs required.
Resto-mod that 36 and daily it.
Great to see metal going back into its original form. So satisfying to watch.👍👍👍
I want the Austin 😁
You are doing a vine job on your own. The content is really really good and your side kick "CAT" is a nice addition to the channel. Keep up the good work!
I watch an insane amount of TH-cam, 23rd has consistently been my favorite channel for about 6mo. Keep it up
Wow thank you so much that means a lot to us!
Yuri, always freaking incredible and professional work mate! Keep Orange Crushing it!
“Clean ya frame for free”…. I love it! Lol
Hi how are you doing today.
Yuri, ya did it again! All the skills man! Love the '36, perhaps convert it to electric!?
Your a talented fella Yuri and funny, keep up the fantastic work
That guy is a real body man
Your brother living in a good paddock mate
Yuri, aka the frame doctor!!!
350 /350...fuel injection holley sniper....change the rear end gear so it will sort of pull a wheelie...then go from there...put a borla stainless exhaust on it to give it that healthy gutteral bass sound... little bit wider tires on the back than the front...
Hippos are better at hiding in trees. St.Paul,Minnesota.
Great content man. Keep it up. You and your brother are my favorites.
Brilliant frame work and this VW is with back on its feet !
Great video, impressive what you accomplish just by doing most of your work by yourself.looks good.just continue doing what you do best and carry on.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Since Hippos are like water pigs, Hippo bacon?
Hippo sausage 😋
The VW work was great. Metal is not meant to be eaten, fyi. (Though some pro jocks and rappers like a shiny grill). For the sedan,I'll suggest a 327.Higher revs than the 350, and it'll add a few more $ if he sells, and street cred to Pops for the car shows.
Amazing job as always.
Great work man.
good work
Love the channel
Keep an eye VTuned, He stealin 😅😅😅😅
Pretty damn fine job you made off that yuri you make it look so easy but it certainly ain’t as easy as it looks . I think your right on the fire trunked ephalunt don’t think the hippo had much of chance there wise words 🤣
Next time heat it up and cool it fast after you bend it back in shape it will harden it better then not hardening it ito all about cooling fast to harden the metal the metal shrinks really fast which makes it hard again you can do that with body panels too
Ben has a Mustang engine and trans. 🙂 But an LS would be nice !
First time we see vtuned in a few months 😂
What has happened to Nate?where is he working now
I think he went to Ohio. And is going to have his own channel.
He is working at the same shop as brother Mark
love the work you do but how come there is never any torquing of bolts
Yuriv is always comedy and entertainment!
It’s an old school build, nothing wrong with a 4speed muncey behind a solid 350…
Like the barber 💈 did on your head he missed all kinds of spots no joke tell him about himself 😮😊
Upgrade to LS
Thought you may of braced/ welded in some steel ?
3:26 💯😆😆😄😂💜
Ephalant 😂😂😂
could you have welded a plate on each side to give it strength?
Go over things 3-4-69 times. Deadass!! Hahahaha
Please use a torque wrench to tighten the wheel bolts, an uga duga is not the right way.
👏👏👏👍👍👍

Check out Robbie Layton, he recently also adopted a kitty.
What happened to the wrecked f80 m3 you had a couple of years ago? Was it worth fixing and how much was the fix? I'm looking into buying a front end damaged f80 myself and was wondering if it's worth getting it fixed.
It just depends man if you get lucky and it’s not destroyed sometimes it’s worth it, but front end parts not cheap and you also have to think about frame and paint labor

@@23RD Got you man I will.
@@23RD Just did, it went though as an invite to message
🚗👏👍💪🤩
I better not see a line in invoice for subframe cleaning!
That will be 69.99 sir are we doing cash or card?
Why not reenforce the brackets to the subframe.
😂
11:40 👂 💜 💯😄😄😄😄😄
That subframe from a scrap yard is like 150 he probably paid more in time and labour to fix it
Thanks for the laugh 😂
HITTING THE LIKE BUTTON WILL ADD 3 INCHES TO YOUR JUNK. LMAO. SERIOUSLY HIT THE SUBSCRIBE BUTTON ITS FREE AND WITH BIDENOMICS WE COULD USE THE SAVINGS.
Thats one weak spot on that subframe! Them brackets are tin can metal 😖
Aloha Yuri, been watching your vids for a while since I'm in the same industry and I'm an estimator for a dealership(Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, Volkswagen, and Genesis) owned collision center. I'm 100% certain that all manufacturers along with I-Car state that you cannot repair a suspension crossmember due to the type of metal(HSS, UHSS, etc.) its made of. I'm sure you'll agree that anything can be repaired. But is the repair safe and did not comprise the integrity of the part? You stated its the next guys problem?? How could you say that? Are you not concerned for the safety of the customer?
Your audience should be aware that not all your repair methods would be considered acceptable.
Hey, thanks for watching, but I have to respectfully disagree with your comment, manufactures are in the business of selling us new parts so obviously they are going to claim that we cannot repair these kinds of things and also can you please explain to me how this repair will fail, and how it will be a danger to the customer.
@@23RD Yuri, you yourself said @ 7:16 "it does weaken it....". I could pull Alldata but I cannot upload it into the comments. This business we're both in involves a lot of liability which mainly falls on the repair shops.
@@Si_Hano of course it weakens it, but it will never fail from regular driving and getting hit again in the wheel it will not make a life and death situation. Sometimes you have to toss your books and look at it logically, we been doing it this way for the last twenty five years and have never had an issue. If you ask me to straighten your subframe, you assume all the risk, if I charged you for a new one and then straightened it, then that’s different.
Show us your girlfriend please 🙏
I can’t, she’s so beautiful everyone is going to try and steal her 🤷♂️
