love this Guy and his sense of humour.. his work is awesome... so inspiring...I would love to hear an 1 hour interview with him...I could relate to him on so many levels in only 16 minutes...Thank you for this series. I am now a total fan.
I'm so glad this series is back! It's super cool to see Varun's work here especially since I coincidentally discovered his work only a couple months prior!
I feel like it’s been asked and answered already. But I’m hoping when that sketch book is filled they’ll make copies for distribution. That would be such a fantastic study
I'm so glad I found someone who can relate this,I can't draw in an expensive sheets as well I have a lot of it but I think I started to keep it as a souvenir lol! I need therapy ♥️
love this video! been following varun's work for a couple of years, glad i got to see his sketchbooks!! :) but i wish the host asked him more questions ://
Awesome sketches ,specially monkey in barber shop so funny😂....I feel same about new expensive paper fobia ,print or rough papers is more comfortable for going fearless 😅
I need therapy too. I can only draw on newsprint and discarded/ruined paper. There’s less pressure/performance anxiety because of it and like Varun says it can’t get any worse, right? It’s already ruined Lol It’s mostly because newsprint is better for loose (and fast) sketches while expensive paper is better used for inking slower with precision for something final like illustrations
These videos are generally shot when the artists come to THU for their talks or to participate. You can notice the event tag on the hands in some of the videos. If Kesh happens to be a part of THU at some point they will perhaps make a video.
it's 2024 I wish there are still videos like this..
Is the talking an important part or can it be just quiet art videos?
It’s so nice to see other Indian artists in the industry
we need indian artist from america and canada to show their work

Oh man, a minute in and it's already one of the best videos!
As someone who moved to America in high school the rediscovery part hits so hard

I used to draw on leftover printer paper that my mom would bring home from work. I go back and forth, nice paper and cheap paper.
