I had never seen this trick during my time playing around with BMX in the `80's. However, on the flip side, all kinds of tricks were blowing people's minds that are mundane today. We also never had access to foot pegs or Pott's mod either. Only access to BMX came through BMX Action at the news stand.
Too cool, RAD! I wish I still had my 86 GT performer:) I did score a 87 AM-TECH 700 JX wich is a “Nintaka” :) it’s the Japanese’s Gt wanna be but it’s badass and I got it from the goodwill for $60 and oh boy was i excited to see it has all the original parts and still in working order. Blue frame,White tires, white break pads hard plastic white seat 😂 it even still has the handlebar pad and the nut saving pad:). Was gonna add a pic of the Nintaka but won’t let me upload a pic:(
YEAAAH!!! Gen X you know we invented this sport right? And of COURSE it happened when? THE 80s!! But you must show respect to the new gens cause they took this to a new level bro!! I have BIG respect for them for that!! THANK YOU!
