That's brittle blue. Some older batches of blue oxidize or something over time. Careful not to break them! I like to use them for visual interest, but they don't always like to accept studs in their antistuds.

I think that blue piece is just old, and that’s the color blue pieces used to be.

And the rubber band holder was changed, and has 2 technic pin holes in it, and only one piece I never seen the scalia sets, so it was only one I was unfamiliar with

The dice unlocked memories I haven't had in years. I remember being like 6-7 rolling these dice.

Oh...I had some of those hands in with my LEGOs and had no idea what they were for. I didn't realize they were Bionicle pieces.

I don't know why exacly but that Second piece (aka the white one) reminds a Lot about portal, specially the torrets
2:05 I picked up a few of those 2x2 round split-dome pieces years ago - I noticed them in a Bricklink store when buying other parts, and they were only a few cents.
Finally used them as rocket parts for a NoVVember build in 2016.
My favorite build is the funny bionicle, because it reminds me of the ones that my brothers and I built when we were beginners.
Bionicle is really it’s own thing. Most of the time a weapon is just a weapon for that one character. At most you might be able to make it into some kind of claw of some bigger build.
A lot of times weapons would be recycled in official sets as wings or shoulder plates or landing gear. Hell Tahu's original sword has popped up as an exhaust flame a few times, and I know Whenua's drill croped up in a Mars Mission set

I think the different color of blue is from it yellowing, like you said in the video about your pieces being ruined. either that or they slightly changed the color of it.
It's not yellowing, I have a set from 2009 that has 4 of the exact same piece that are that blue color, with all of the other blue pieces being normal blue. It's weird
there are other version of that first piece. I am not sure why they changed the mold from one to the other, maybe it was due to the size of the rubberbands needed. The only difference, was the other one had two technic pin connectors

I have the dark red flamethrower, ice blade, and I did find the weird blue slope but also the inverted slope but a dark green blue, and some bricks similar

8:35 I can’t believe you didn’t look up about that just like yellowing some of the blue pieces in a certain decade I got an a brand new 2007 set and the blue pieces came out some of them like that something to do with the plastic inside with age and it causes the blue to get darker and brittle

I had one of those old elastic powered pullback sets that I got back in '98 if I remember right, maybe even the same design except that I think mine was red instead of green.
I also already knew noodle and the brick separator

I personally rather see more weird pieces with maybe the set they where used it. The builds with the pieces felt forced.
