I have a good fiend converting a 2015 pro master van to a camper. They have the backup camera and rear bumper sensors all ready. They want to add two rear speakers. Everything we find is about the same...no wiring colors given, just a six plug adapter. What are the wiring colors at that connector for rear speakers!? I can’t believe that nobody says! Please help! We understand the engineering mode, but why would it not let us in wether there is a change of speakers or not? Engineering mode should come up no matter what, right!?
So the little white harness is for the usb and don’t need to be used correct. Amd what was the Volkswagen model number for this one. I also have a promaster amd and wanna swap the radio out.
You did show plugging the harness into the new radio, did you use the small white harness or not? and what is it for. My radio would loose power, if I pushed on the small white harness it would come back on, Unplugged it and stripped the sheath back and now it won't work at all. I have power to the 10amp fuse.
I installed the new unit radio works but there is no sound coming from the speakers checked the wiring multiple times and everything is the way its supposed to be.
I wasn't very clear about the type of adapter used to connect there, did you just crimp the wires from the original adapter or purchased an accessory one? also I like to know how to install a double din touch screen radio in this same exact single din radio profile and where do I get the parts for it. Thanks.
The description has all the parts used in this install. We didn't cut into the factory harness, instead we used the adapters. Just crimp together and plug and play. It is for USB Ports. By the steering wheel. Did need it so just left it off. New radio works fine. @@ormie07

Sounds like you may have a factory amplifier. Did you hook up the solid blue wire to your new radio?
yes I have the blue wire hooked up, still no sound. radio turns on just no sound at all
How do I direct wire the radio so when the key is off I can listen to the radio and not lose my stations

Most likely will need single din keys to pull it out.

how about canbus support?
You can find support, but this ram has a analog accessory wire at the harness, so no smart harness really required.

@@_WADE13x Not in every case, but for this Promaster, if you want to retain steering wheel controls, you can use the Crux SWRCR-59D adapter.
is there a wire that goes directly from the tweeter to the radio ? ( so 4 speakers wire are used ?)
