Omg!! Mesmerizingly amazing to watch! So cool that you shared your incredible talent with everyone Bradford!! Tell Rob Boss he also needs to plug your website and how people can buy some of your amazing creations of art! Bravo this is amazing! 👏

Wow!! So interesting to watch you take organic plant material and turn it into a piece of art. Please make more and please invite Rob Boss back!! Love it!! Great work!
Hi Brad I just moved to Florida and been collecting these pieces painted a few. Love your work do you think you could list some of your supplies, like how to preserve, spray shellac, acrylics etc...
Hi Kate. Welcome…I have found that the best way to preserve is from the beginning. If you are talking about palm, you need to really focus on sanding all of the coating that happens naturally. Once you have removed that then comes the primer. I usually use Kilz. Then whatever paint you prefer, whether it is acrylic, oil, enamel, etc. You can use sealants but it depends on the piece you are creating. Do you want it to have a gloss look or more natural?…if you have more question please feel free to ask
@@BradfordHermannArtsofPalm Great, fast reply. Awesome, and awesome giraffe, so creative the way the head sits on the base and looks like it has a a bit of a swivel.... too bad you left that part out (showing how you attached it) So I was wondering if you can steer me in the right direction for the wax wire, a google search just confused me more. Where do you get it if you do not mind me asking. And what is the tensile strength? or maybe there are choices... Thanks for you reply and help.
I work for Costco Wholesale part time and that is what is used to hang signs over large spans. I recycle what is being thrown away. They buy it in spools and is quite expensive. I will check exactly where they order it from and it’s weight capacity and let you know.
@@truefreedom3823 So, they purchase the wire in spools from a fishing company. It is used as a leader line for shark fishing. I hope that helps lessen the confusion:]

@@BradfordHermannArtsofPalm I’ll keep you as my point of contact. I noticed how rough the fronds is and it would be difficult to paint a straight line on the rigid fronds.
@@vickimarsh2385 I always sand my fronds down first then prime. I thought you had said that they were cleaned. That is a very important step to ensure the paint’s longevity and adherence.
So CREATIVELY DONE! I love giraffe and we have 38 palm trees on property! I will have to try this soon.

Amazing Do you need to let the palm dry before to apply all these processes? Thanks!
@@laurakol8571 Definitely let the frond dry and sand before priming.

What is the hanging string material you used ? The stuff you fused together with the lighter. I love that, I want some for my creations. Thanks
That is a wax coated wire string. Once heated it bonds together. Thanks for your comment

Do you need to prepare the frond before cutting and painting? Thank you in advance
First, Cut the frond to your liking, then sand and paint
@@BradfordHermannArtsofPalm what kind of paint do you recommend?
@@hmcvean Do you mean brand or like acrylic or oil?
@@BradfordHermannArtsofPalm i wondered if it was acrylic yes.
