I love Johnny & always have.. I grew up only 30 minutes from where he was born in Owensboro, Ky. He still has family here, actually in October when he was playing in Louisville with Jeff Beck he made a surprise visit to Owensboro the night before. He visited with some neighbors of his family that happened to be outside hanging out in the yard. He took photos but ask them not to share until the next day. He had a peaceful visit as he deserves.

Captain Jack Sparrow is my favourite . When i see your work in the screen i can see how dedicated and hard working actor you are and you always give the 100% performance . what i love about you the most is that you do not had let the fame and money get in to your head and you are truly kind to your fans.

Not all Johnny Depp's u.s. fans would act crazy if they met him, okay, some would faint like he is the Beatles, but some of us are not annoying at all. But when Johnny had the odds against him, and bad rumors, every damn fan came together as one, and we were obnoxious, and we weren't having any bull crap. We demanded justice for Johnny. So, u.s. fans kinda deserve some credit. None of his fans feel shunned, but I for one am not annoying, and I've never met Johnny Depp, and likely never will. So maybe narrow it down to l.a. fans. I'm in north cal. Miles from l.a.
Celebrities present themselves with a crafted image that suggests they are larger than life, when in reality they really are not. That’s why people go crazy. Every place all over the world wants to take pictures with him, not just in the US. He is most famous here though.

Living in NYC we see a lot of celebrities. I remember walking with my dad - he caught everybody. He'd say, Hey Jimmy! And wave like he knew him. We would crack up but usually we just smile and keep walking. Except for when I literally ran into Gilda Radner, in the Village. We were both going into Reminiscence on McDougle St and walking in different directions. I wasn't looking where I was going and stopped just before walking into her. This was at the height of Saturday Night live. When I looked up and recognized her, my mouth and eyes opened wide I couldn't believe it! She was the sweetest thing! She blushed and had the sweetest smile on her face, I was so embarrassed at my gaping, I didn't say anything but after that initial shock she nodded towards the store and we walked in, she first. That was that. We were the only people in there so we each did our thing, shopping, looking thru the racks. Reminiscence is not a big place. Gilda was wearing white overalls and it was very early afternoon in summer. My jaw dropped 🤦🏼♀️ and she had the sweetest smile and was so laid back !
