    Hi, I'm Tatsuya from MergingMoon.
This is a documentary film, produced by Chris-san, edited by Cody-san, about a band MergingMoon, shot in 2015 Winter.
Firstly, I'm sorry to everyone, who has ever checked out our music and supported, for the band is not active right now, and hasn't been active for a while.
It's maybe because of my bad personality that made other members want to leave the band, or the irresponsibility of the past members who left the band for their personal reasons, or just Music business was not for us, or just it's the nature that nothing can carry on forever.
When Chris came to visit me in Tokyo that winter, the band had been already stopped, after the release of our EP "eN" in 2015 Summer. I was not having good relationship with the guys who had already decided to leave by then, but still able to contact them and asked them to talk about band activity. Then Yu and Yoto and me only carried on from 2016. Every 3 of us were doing something else from then, away from this band. I worked hard about the band while the members were just my friends, but I eventually got left alone in the end, that's what I felt, so I went to a music school after this documentary, to make music a real job even if I had to do it alone.
MergingMoon released only one single, which was "Gravity Of Spadille"(2018), and actually I had some more demos done. but it wasn't enough for the band to fully move again, and by then, I was not having much free time to do things about the band. I rather had to make more and more demo songs for entering things to music society here.. Which made Yuto to decide to leave the band too, and by now he has been a great guitarist in another band(Sable Hills) here in Tokyo. Please check them out, they are awesome.
I'm working as a composer and an arranger for J-pop music and movie tracks now, which is a fortunate thing. I still need to work so much harder than now to be able to keep doing it though. Then when I'm able to ask good musicians to do a full-membered rock band again, or I might just try producing everything from my personal studio and release digitally, I think I can still have some chance to carry on MergingMoon in the future. I might be able to ask Yu to sing them or maybe not stick to her for the new music. I might even decide not to use the name "MergingMoon" anymore, if the music style does not suite for metal lovers. I don't know what's gonna happen to MergingMoon and how it's still possible to release new music, but let me update again soon.
Anyway, this documentary was made quite a long time ago. It couldn't be uploaded earlier for some reasons, so this is not showing how the band situation is right now, but definitely shows a moment what we experienced back then.
Yu-san has a daily job but still can work as a singer, so if someone has a project for her, and if someone has a song for me to compose, please contact us! and this video is, and will be a very good memory forever. Thank you very much for those who kindly watched this until the end (it's quite long), and big thanks to Chris and Cody-san, and being sorry for that, this didn't get uploaded when it was fresh back in 2015.
    Thank you! (Tatsuya)

Thanks for this, and best of luck! As someone who started listening around 2011, it's nice to know what happened and see so much of the journey. You guys were/are amazing!

Bass don't need to be smoking. He needs his lungs for the back singing, piano, and bass. His lungs are GREATLY REQUIRED if he's backing vocals

This was very interesting and insightful and being a musician myself (not profesional), I recognize a lot of the things you talked about and a lot of the problems you faced. I'm really glad you started doing music with MergingMoon again and can't wait to hear more new stuff!

Nonetheless, I still believe Yuu (if I spelled it right), Tatsuya (Again if I spelled it right), and Their second main vocals could still continue as a vocal trio. With Tatsuya's Backing vocals. Have some songs for first halfof live shows, he can fully focus on bass then take a break and second half, he focus on bass and vocals.
