Joe poured me a pepsi. Was great to meet Steve Clark! When I went backstage in 93 that prick Viv shithead Craphead acted like the spoiled prick he is, but the other guys were just as nice as in 88. He never was and never will be a true lepp. Hit and run is Def`s best song.
I think performing in the round would give me bad stage fright being surrounded like that. Did Joe really stay sober? I have a hard time believing that he said he quit drinking. However, in many photos, when they were onstage, Joe seemed to literally be propping Steve up so he wouldn’t fall. Ironic that he took over and fired Pete Willis from the band that he started, for being a drunk, but he favored Steve so much that he could do no wrong. Joe was a lush too. Anyone remember Me And My Wine? Wasted? And one of my favorites, Saturday Night High And Dry?
