I have not heard of this style of music before. Fender, I want to thank you so much for opening my ears and the ears of the world to these wonderful musicians! As a bassist, I was immediately intrigued by that smooth and moving bass rhythm. I would love to study this rhythm that he is playing. It made me get up and dance! Do I understand the culture, no but I don't need to. I understand love which I richly appreciate that these gentlemen are all about spreading. Music knows no language nor is it held in place by borders. It is to be enjoyed. I love seeing how energetic they were in the video as they were performing. Such a great clip!
I like the fact that you embraced this genre of music, and open to venture into it. It shows the love and spirit of music. Highlife music to the world.
@@uzochukwujohnson5993 Absolutely! I'm listening to these rhythms and hearing multiple influences that are present. You cannot deny that moving rhythm that makes you want to dance. Such wonderful music!
Why is no one talking about the visual production? The fact that all the performances are Steadicam oners, camera movement is very intentional based on the vibe of the music and the lighting makes this production one of my top 3 live recordings. Kudos to whoever contributed to pulling this magic!!!.
I quit my job last month as a site Engineer because for a full year, my employer did not give me a single break to even allow me attend any of The cavemen's show. It was an abusive job that forced me on a 11 working hours and six days a week. Cavemen however kept me going. Their music was basically my source of mental relaxation. Now I'm in Abuja, I'll be looking forward to their next show.
Fender hire me for captions😂 during selense’s performance Kingsley wasn’t singing in a “foreign language” it’s actually English. “Why you Dey do like say you no Dey love” is as easy as it is
Whoever thought of combining The Cavemen with The Compozers is a genius. The performance of Selense was magical and effortless, so much synergy. The drummers and the bassists never clashed once! 😭😩🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍
I need to put this out here: Playing fast rhythms and singing along on Bass and Drums is another talent on its own. Not much are gifted with that ability. It's safe to say that Benjamin Okorie of The Cavemen is up to par with Anderson Paak. Thank you Fender!
The camera movement in 'Selense' was nothing short of madness and fluidity!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I never thought I'd see Compozers and Cavemen.... They should do a show together...the talent on display would be unbearable for true music lovers ❤️❤️ Africa unite!!!🇬🇭🇳🇬🌍
My friends don't understand why I love The Cavemen so much. The only music which actually touches the deepest part of my soul that I almost want to cry.
The cavemen is more like a religion to me.. their sound connects my soul to the universe in a way that excited every atom ⚛️ in my core.. I am proudly cavy 🌴 and will always be... God bless the cavemen.. 🎶🎶🎶
The more I listen to this guys, especially after attending their live show some days back, the more I can’t help but realize that they are a gift to us, to the whole music scene. Keep soaring, we the cavy people are with y’all.
Wow wow! I am so in love. Thank you #Fender for introducing me to #TheCavemen. The sound is unlike anything I have ever heard. The intimacy and crisps, raspy sounds was so beautiful.
The cinematography throughout the video was just amazing especially the camera movement during the Selense performance. Incredibly beautiful angle to capture an incredibly beautiful performance. The Cavemen is one of the beat bands i have ever listened too and my motto is always "Staying Cavy all dayyyy" 🌴🌴🌴
Me You I is easily one of my best Nigerian/love songs ever The fact that there’s not just one way to perform it and he just scats so passionately and goes with the flow and it’s always a beautiful output is so euphoric and phenomenal
Wow! Thier talent is so so raw🔥🔥🔥 You dont need to understand them to feel their music, they speak a universal language and that is the language of feelings🔥 Their sound is so great❤
This was the best thing I've seen in a while. The Cavemen are a music force to recon with. Listening to these guys brings a rollercoaster of excitement.
Since 2 weeks?? This video isn't getting the views it deserves. I hope this doesn't go down as one of those beautiful videos that the algorithm robs us of.
I'm just seeing this version of Anita by the Cavemen and I think I love it more than the real one they released. The Cavemen are something else my God😮 their songs are so spiritual, especially those chants from Benjamin it's highly spiritual 😊 These guys are kings of Highlife.
I can't stop listening to this sounds ,I really appreciate what the mix engineer did with the own panning and the snare sound amazing , how he also balance the two bands composers and cave men .🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Flowers be given. The media is just as good as the instrumentals
To people listening to this kind of music for the first time, Welcome to highlife
It's 2024 and I keep coming back. I can't get enough of Nsikak!
The Cavemen & Nsikak 🇳🇬 + The Compozers 🇬🇭 killed that ‘Selense’ performance.
The cavemen will win the Grammys one day.. Mark my words ❤
The Grammys are too primitive to appreciate this kind of advanced music touch, these guys surely getting way bigger than the grammys
