I can’t recall smelling Dior Sauvage too often in the wild, yet social media says everyone wears it. Heck,the majority of people don’t even wear fragrances.
I’m a guy, and I wear Lemar often. It is probably my favorite scent, but it is one of 60 different fragrances I have. I’ve noticed recently I’ve been tending to like more feminine sense. I really like the Bacharach rouge type but that’s just recent.
I love Spicebomb by Riktor and Rolf (Fall/winter version). I tend to buy more gourmand fragrances because those scents tend to last a lot longer on me than fresh fragrances. Having said that, I think Club de Nuit (I don't remember who it's from), is awesome as a fresh fragrance and Light Blue Intense (for men) are great, great choices, for me at least. I also Vetiver and Golden Vanilla by Jo Malone and Guerlain pour l'homme intense (the old bottle) and Noir Exquis by L'artisan Parfumeur is also delicious. I just bought Penhaligon's Yasmin and Cairo which smell divine too. I'm slowly building my collection but I'm definitely interested in buying a few of the ones in this video. Love what you're doing!
Here's the odd thing about Naxos, and other sweet scents i consider in the same family (Armani SWY Azzaro Most wanted, etc). They suit my public personality, because i am aproachable, agreeable, not super masculine, nice-guy sort yet they don't suit my taste! Its not that i don't like them its just i don't find them interesting artisticly. And im not trying to be edgy or try hard on purpose but dark fragrances suit my inner introverted personality better. Stuff like Montale Black Aoud, Encre Noire, Red Tobacco, Layton Exclusif or Incense fragrances like Serge Lutens...those are closer to my "soul" if you get what i mean.
Interestingly, I went to the Xerjoff boutique to specifically buy Naxos but, while waiting to be attended, I got my nose on Alexandria II so I changed my mind and got that one instead. It's more complex and challenging so I prefer those type of scents as I have enough "safe" scents which Naxos happens to be
Melissa have you tried Ganymede from Marc-Antoine Barrios?? It smells like the interior of a brand new luxury car. Ozonic suede with a metallic freshness to it. Extremely versatile, unisex (probably leaning heavy masculine though tbh). It is probably the most unique fragrance I have ever smelled and shit might even be one of the most unique in the world. Easy to love but soooo unique and different
As much as i love the house of pdm, dior sauvage elixir is superior to haltane. They do have some other fragrances that are nicer, like layton or greenly, but sauvage elixir is its own beast

It smells like holiday time.Warm & spicy & the dry down has praline & vanilla, gourmand but not overly sweet. Its so well blended & a MUST TRY fragrance.

About Roses Vanille, the thing is, it smells alot like attor, which has that middle eastern fragrance in it. So if you come from a country where attar is popular(not necessarily a middle eastern country/the golf/arab country), you won't really get compliments as it's quite the normal stuff there. I remember a woman said that the hotels, the towels and almost everything in Dubai smells the way Roses Vanille smells like
Vibrato is like Tygar but better. Straight grapefruit and Ambroxin. My bottle had to macerate for like a month but now it’s 12 plus hours and totally worth the price. Turathi blue is a great cheap clone. Not as good but it’s like $30 compared to $250.
