Watching this right after my procedure hahaha. It didn't hurt for anyone wondering, but it felt weird when they tried to push the implants inside.

@@SaFiey97 Nope just felt like someone stuffing things underneath my skin. Weird but didnt hurt after the anesthesia

My greatest concern is my smile being altered; have you experienced that at all?
@@SaFiey97 3 weeks ish I think. Depends on how you do it. As far as I know there are two ways, either they can insert it from inside your mouth, or outside below the chin. I did it below the chin and it does leave a scar but it's underneath my skin so it isn't noticable.

@@christophershelby5485 no I got filler instead it is good and worth it. Just a temporary fix though- may be get it once a year. It was £400 jaw and chin and cheek filler. Really happy with it I am. X

I wanted to ask a question Can silicone implants rub against the chin bone and generate internal infections in the long term?
Would it be better to inject fat to increase the projection of the chin as an alternative?

There is no such a thing as internal infection, what it can make is an internal clotting, in such case it should probably be removed, however that should be extremely rare, because they are probably using a hipoalergic silicone.
I might be wrong though, I'm a pharmacist not a surgeon.
I don't think it will create infections but from what I read it could cause issues with the bone as it rubs against it possibly causing issues several years latter. I get different aswers regarding this as some Surgeons put screws in to hold it while the majority of Surgeons do not..So???
I will be getting that procedure done with a different surgeon and he makes the incision in the month behind the bottom lip no visible scars

Hello sir,do we feel the tightness once implant is done around the skin...how the pocket is created to fit the implant some muscles is cut to create the space to fit the implant or...by default there is space between our chin bone and muscles so that the implant get fits easily?
I know this is weird but!
What about getting punched at the implant/titanium screws location?
What about applying a long constant pressure while sleeping sleeping?

ive talked to a doctor who does chin implants about this a while ago and he told me that they have alot of patients that are athletes like boxers etc and that mild trauma like punches and stuff wont move the implant, however it could be possible if u get punched when ur implant has just recently been placed. ive no clue about ur sleeping question tho

How do you know if you need a chin implant or if you need double jaw surgery for a long face?
no screws on the sides of the implant? just the front? im scared my jawline would get deformed if i accidentally hit it against something.
Rather than having a scare on your chin, just go to a surgeon that can do it through the mouth.... heals fast with minimal down time and no scar.
but isn't it painful to brush ur teeth? can you even brush after the procedure
Mine was inserted through the mouth and is made of bone, not silicone.. My bone grew through it.

@usr2443 My doctor advised me to brush my lower teeth very gently with a smooth toothbrush. Then rinse with a clinical grade mouthwash and finally apply a septic gel over the sutures.

Do the wings of the Implant always have to go along the jawline in the secondaries animation. I had mine 6 months ago & the wings do not exactly go along the jawline. Is it a problem or not? Many thanks ………….comments very welcomed ………
What if the rest of your jawline (from chin toward ears) is weak and not defined? Wouldn't a jutting chin look strange?

Chins that are recessed can be genetic, like in my case. I have a good forward grown maxilla, but my chin is just recessed. My jawline is wide, but again, my silly recessed chin is there
@@happymolecule8894 same dude, I think my orthodontist fucked me up by pushing my mandibular teeth back into alignment. Jawline is crisp as hell but chin is a couple mm back

I’m getting this done but it won’t fix my fish lips, both my upper and lower teeth are pushed forward which obviously pushes my lips forward and I look like a fish. What would I have done to fix that?

Julie Hane Braces are supposed to fix misalignment of your teeth. Usually it takes years before you remove the braces and that it should be replaced with retainers upon removal.

@Katlyn my mouth sticks out because both my upper and lower jaw stick out. I struggle breathing, talking, when I’m at rest my mouth is open (and not just a little tad). I don’t have thin lips. From the side I look ugly af

what if you fall on your chin will it move or shift its position
It should not move if secured properly. A massive trauma to the chin although may alter its position but it's very unlikely.

Why would you want to make your face bigger? you would be laughed at in korea if you are a women with a big face. Small face is feminen and attractive. Even in the west having a small face is considered attractive. I don't want to be rude but your face already looks huge in your picture.

@@dalkomhanni it felt weird at first because you're not used to seeing your new chin. The change is really drastic. I like it even better as time goes by. Though I just can't smile like the way I used to. My lower lip just don't move when I smile.
How is it now ? Is the smile still not like it used to be ??
@@mandanoduster TBH the first couple of weeks was the worst. If I smile, my lower won't (or can't) move. It's stuck in that place. Try smiling without moving your lower lips, that's how it looks like. It was weird.
After one month it gets better, I can now smile like how it used to. I almost don't feel that there's an implant at all. It feels like it's already part of me.
Though the lower part of my chin, where the implant is exactly placed, is still numb when I touch it. No pain at all.
@@James1230 thanks for the answer! I’m thinking about getting an operation for 4 years now almost. Just can’t decide. Every surgeon has bad comments, I guess that’s normal.
