Tonight, for the first time, this ever smiling man Kalonzo has convinced me that indeed his Diplomatic credentials are genuine and that, given a chance he can apply tye same principles to successfully view for presidency come 2027. He will get my vote if the "WATERMELON " tag doesn't replicate again. The conversation was candid, mature and pragmatic. Kudos Kalonzo and congratulations Mr. Kariuki for the manner in which you conducted the interview. Keep up.
Maybe, I may have my personal opinion and advise to Kalonzo in the following areas:
1. Please try to make wiper a national party and let it create tentacles outside the kamba land sir.
2. Next time, please marshal enough financial resources to help you crisscross the country like Ruto did. Presidency is an heavy investment, not a walk in the park.
3. Just like you have carried yourself with exceptional maturity and leadership potential, carry yourself to 2027 as an open minded person devoid of ultimatums and or indecisive tone. These are the areas your weaknesses play most. Be a man with an own stand, with finality.
4. Lastly, its never about bribing voters but with a Kenyan voter as you know majority are my senior brother, you can't penetrate the lengths and informal interiors with empty, smiling lips and expect a vote. Baba has the magic royalists while Ruto has the oratory mouth to seduce votes easily. Martha Karua has the ironic confrontation with an iota of citizenry trust and fear at the same time and lastly we have Mdvd that has the stature and demeanor of economic aka GDP master plan gospel that has no much spice to back it up. In 2027, if its you Kalonzo tosha, you must review your approach against the above tips. If its Martha Karua, she must reduce her confrontational type of "serious" demeanor to a more Sober and smiling face for kenyans to trust you guys with their vote. Less that, Ruto with his exceptional oratory and sanguine personality atawabwaga by 6am in the morning, his taxes or Zachayo tags notwithstanding. The guy knows the language of the common man and kenyan voter forgets easily. Watch this space Kalonzo, come 2027.

I suggest to Kalonzo to Stop beating around the bush and announce categorically that he will vie.. It is still early but let him stop saying Ruto announced his candidature.. It should be simple " I am vying and we intend to make Kenya Better" If Azimio doesn't want to support him early this is the time to quit. Wapatane mbele.. Kibaki didn't fund counties, it's counties which has taken most of country finances; secondly why give mps funds in name of cdf, thought there job is making laws,the other day they were demonstrating that cdf has not been disbursed &needy students might not go back to schools; what about change cdf to education funds and diverted to ministry of education to clear all public schools fees hence giving free secondary education.if that is done someone will call for demonstration because they want money in hands of mps not in hands of all kenyans.the problem is all laws passed during kibaki's time is seen as progressive while it's putting the country in more debts.uhuru tried his best to build infrastructure while funding enormous expenditure brought about by 2010 constitution!!
