Balance is a great album. Also, it's VH's most underrated album.
This was their 90s Grunge Era, Dark Album. Diminshed chords, wahwa & effects in place of the 80's style solos. VH was staying relevant, 20 year veterans with inner turmoil, Health, Eddie needed hip replacement then the cancer, Addiction, Alex had crushed vertebraes etc...fighting addiction. Great album. Mean Street from FAIR WARNING is my fave song. 🤟
Yeah, but songs like Seventh Seal and Amsterdam were old VH tunes. Seal dates to the 70s and Amsterdam was written musically between 5150 and Ou812.
