  • This tilt out trash cabinet was made at the request of a family member. The design came from a pin on Pinterest, but was redesigned to make it our own. It's a really easy project and comes in quite handy for keep trash out of sight and out of mind.

    Did you have any problems with the cabinet wanting to tip forward when trash was full and opening the hinged door?

    Looks great, but I don't quite understand how it works... I mean, do you put a trash bag in it? or does a smaller trashcan fit in it?

    • @Shopcat22
      @Shopcat22  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      A standard size kitchen trash can fits down inside of it. We didn't actually have the exact size trash can that fits in it while we were filming it, just the dimensions. And out can was a bit bigger than what she had.

    I’m having trouble finding a garbage can that fits the dimensions of this. What are the dimensions for the actual garbage can and could tell me where you found yours?

    Not enough discussion/explanation. The music is very annoying. The color is hideous. Far from fine woodworking.

    • @Shopcat22
      @Shopcat22  7 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Thanks, Dave. I'm glad you caught all that. I had to check though to make sure I hadn't accidentally placed the words "fine woodworking" anywhere in the title. After further inspection, it appears that I didn't. Whew! That was a close call. You had me worried. Thanks again for watching.

      Dave Engstrom great observation...idiot.

    • @ryanivester5042
      @ryanivester5042 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Dave, ever heard of "constructive criticism"? While, I wouldn't mind some discussion on the building process, no reason to be a jerk. I built one of these a few years back and while simple, it takes awhile to build. Sure, some might see flaws in the work or color choice but those flaws/choices give it character. You're probably just jealous of his skills. Think before you speak so cruel about others work.

      This is coming from an older man who works in a professional woodworking shop with every tool imaginable at his disposal. I’m wondering why he watches these videos in the first place, surely he knows how to built this kind of cabinet.
