Ridiculous how long they had this girl paperwork held up. Nevertheless, gonna be an interesting matchup tomorrow night. Gonna have my popcorn ready. I think Nika gone show out
its great to see this freshman class getting the press they deserve. the Veterans set the tone which is great. but its up to these girls to carry the WBNA torche for the next decade!
I like your enthusiasm. Fever have been getting their chemistry better and better… I certainly think they are better than their record reflects…. That being said, unless Boston has a big game tomorrow against a weaker Post team, I think they’ll lose again. THAT That being said (lol) I actually think Aaliyah WILL have a big game and I think Indiana will win. I think Clark will have an average game (16-20 points) but I think Boston will put up 30 and 10 and guide Indiana to their first win…. It pains me to say this because Nika Muhl is my favorite player and I don’t think she will get much playing time because it will be a tight battle all night and coach will be focused on offense instead of defenses and Nika hasn’t gotten a Chance to gel with the team, so she will probably only get 4-8 minutes and be a non-factor in the game.
@@AtomEdmonds They are losing by an average of almost 20 so far. I get that their last game was actually competitive, but that could very easily be a fluke. I suppose we will find out soon.
CC is getting on track, watch out Seattle. Nika should do as well tonight. Indy will have to play as a team like they did against Conn. Either way neither is a playoff team yet, but fun to watch.
No defense? A certain fever player is at home licking her chops. Smh. After watching highlights of the phoenix vs aces game , nika and clark are gonna have a tough, tough time.
Money says Muhl fouls CC a lot more than she did in the final Four. Why wouldn't she - the refs have allowed near brutal fouls toward CC, while hitting her with ticky tacks. Clark still got 21. Muhl isn't a scoring machine, either. If Clark gets a college typical 20+ shots off, Ws will start happening for the Fever.
I'm not sure how much time she had to practice to the team, so maybe she won't play a lot initially. But I expect her to play a lot because they badly need someone with her type of skillset
You’re right Seattle is playing poorly, but they do have a lot of talent… The thing I like most about you and the reason I followed your channel is not because I like what you say about my favorite teams or players, but because you often say the things I don’t want to say…. By that I mean, I have my own favorites and biases. Example: So even if I think A’ja Wilson is a great player, I don’t want to hear about it because I love Stewie. I tend to agree with you a lot even if i don’t want anyone to say it out loud. With that being said, I’m curious how you think NIKA would have fit with the Liberty instead. Their point guard is Vandersloot who is a pass first guard and has been FOREVER!! NIKA doesn’t have her passing prowess yet, but maybe could someday. They have so much offensive firepower that if she could come off the bench and distribute half as well as Courtney and play better defense, wouldn’t that be an amazing fit??? don’t get me wrong, I think she fit’s well enough in Seattle (the only difference is I think Seattle needs more scoring from the PG). I think NY messed up by picking Davis and I think that NIKA would have fit better in NY… Waht do you think??
I appreciate the kind words. I was surprised New York passed up on Nika Muhl. Courtney Vandersloot would've been the perfect mentor for Nika, and she would be able to take over when she eventually retires. Nika Muhl would work best with a team with a lot of offensive firepower, and that's exactly what New York. It seemed like an obvious selection, but New York took a different direction. The Marquesha Davis draft selection was odd to me. Even if one wanted to argue MD is a better player than Nika, Muhl was clearly the better fit for the team. It doesn't help New York is barely playing Marquesha Davis.
@@RustyLou18 Muhl will be a good pro and is the all time leader in assists at UConn which is crazy to think about. She will fit right in with her passing and defensive intensity.
Last year they had a similar opening schedule (Connecticut, New York, ATL, and Connecticut again). Indiana has to fix their turnovers or defense or it won’t matter who they are playing. Games against weaker teams will still be tough because those teams are desperate like the Fever for wins
They have a shot but it won’t be easy. No one wants to be the team that gives Indiana their first win. It’s like how teams were treating the Pistons like a playoff game during their losing streak.
Nika's defense on CC will determine the outcome. This ain't UConn vs Iowa anymore, CC must win game, but Nika's debut should be outstanding. Nika Mühl 🦾🦾🦾 a Husky for life💛💚💙🤍👉🔥🔥🔥👊

It sucks she missed a few games, but I’m glad it wasn’t worse. I’m definitely interested to see what she does
They were saying it could be 3-6 months so I’m happy it’s coming now.

Nika Muhl did not put up a great stat line in college? She set the all-time assists record for UConn.
Looking forward to that Caitlin Clark bounce back game. Fever got this one.

conflicted on if i should watch this game live or the survivor finale lol
Let’s review. Mika plays three minutes guarding Caitlin. Caitlin scores five points and dishes one assist. Who got the better of that match-up?
It depends on how well she knows the play book. ( Offensively) Defensively she will fit in just fine

Better than someone who can score but can't do anything else? Is that supposed to refer to Clark, who led the NCAA in assists last year?
Clark and Muhl's collegiate "stats" are a mute point now.
@@RustyLou18 True, but it's moot*.
Can't forget she can also turn the ball over and let players blow by her as well. Seriously, she is a good passer to be fair.
You think Clark has struggled, just wait, Muhl will OVER struggle. Please remember Muhl earned most of her so called stats, against BIG EASY teams.
You do realize Clark earned most of her stats against teams ranked in the 300s on defense right? Most of her conference was terrible at defense.

Nika’s 3 pt shot her senior season was very robotic and she had kind of a large power up phase for her shot. Can she get quicker shots off in the W??
That’s a good point. Quicker release would be hard to fix mid season but pump fakes should help
