Was there. it was awesome. Took no chances, Bought a pair of tickets online the night before. Got there before 5pm, My friend drove so i paid to treat him. You caught his bald head in the stands when you filmed from above towards turn 4. WAS PACKED! we stayed for the entire deal. I told my buddy you would be filming for in car shots. McDees were all closed. Almost stopped at a Wawa on the way home towards exit 9 up north. Got home at 1:45 am. Wasn't that bad getting out as we hung out and he parked second row in from fence and about 100 yards from gate. People were polite on the way out with everybody allowing the alternate merges all thru the parking lot. Gotta say i miss the big 5/8 last time i was here for other outlaw and big block mod races. But done in the interest of safety.
Great video Mandee! Liked the unusual cam angle under the wheel during warmups. Loved the cut to the wide shot from your phone for the finish of the heat, great drive Billy Jr. Congrats to Mike on the great run at Outlaw! Good luck at Action Track!
We had room for one more butt up behind the flag stand. But, yeah, that crowd was insane! Aside from lines (bathrooms, food, exit), it was an outstanding night of racing.

Looked like the bottom may have had a bit more bite, but difficult for me to know since Billy was driving. 😉 The way I look at it....8th is better than 28th. Billy is a talented guy, just one of those nights. He'll get it figured out. A top 10 finish with an undamaged race car is always a good night. Onward and upwards!! Thanks for the video, Mandee...and congratulations to Mike on an oh-so-close finish at Outlaw! I was watching his race on Flo, and I think he would have won it if he had 5 more laps!!
That shot of Billy working the wheel is a great shot, hearing that motor howling, and seeing the action, pretty cool. Let's watch the rest and see how it comes out!
