I'm so happy that you gave beginners the tip to use a basic shape. I do this all the time. It helps with placement and giving you a basic idea what your project is going to look like. I also like to give the basic shape the color that my project background is going to be so I can see if the color combinations go well with the design. Good luck to you and Rachel! It's nice seeing you ladies again doing tutorials.
Hi Oak & Lamb. So so happy that I came across your channel. Sure have missed you both. You have such a wonderful chemistry, like Lucy and Ethel. "Just showed my age lol".
I would like to know what the difference is between the spray you put in the sticker and the clear laminate paper before putting the sticker on the car bumper.
Hi, I’ve heard it’s not recommended to use printable vinyl for laser printers - is this true? I really wanna create stuff from holographic vinyl that I also wanna print on but I have a laser printer. I was told by a printing company employee that vinyl is heat sensitive and can destroy the laser printer. Thanks for any tips on this!
Hi, My BRAND new ET 2850 Printer wont print out on Vinyl correctly. Its very smeary at streaks. Put if I print on a regular piece of paper it looks prefect. What am I doing wrong?
You would have to bring the file into Design Space, you cannot have your image on one software and print it on another without transferring your design :)
Yes! Here's a helpful video: th-cam.com/video/C-xFYbHQOoM/w-d-xo.html . You can skip to time 31:40 for the answer to your question, but the whole video is helpful :)
Hi I did the print and cut and have the same printable vinyl you are using. My explorer cut the hair on the messy bun image and it wa all cut up. I am not sure what I did wrong.
It can be used on cars, yes! No need to seal, it doesn't make a difference. It will fade over several months from the sun/weather but that's just a part of it :)
Just a question, what size is the offset. My print then cut just won't work and i cant get it to calibrate. So I want to try using the offset to see if that would make a difference.
If your machine isn't calibrated the offset will always look off center no matter how large or small it is. We're sorry you're having issues calibrating your machine! Here's our calibration video incase you haven't seen it: th-cam.com/video/cxu-1q-3lHA/w-d-xo.html . I hope it helps!
Is the error that it can’t read the registration marks? If so, try changing the lighting in the room. It could either not be getting enough light or maybe even TOO much light. Try using an eraser to dull the shine/gloss of the registration marks or place a matte tape over the registration marks. I’d those things don’t work, trying cleaning the sensor on your machine that reads the registration marks.
I am having an issue with my EA2 reading the registration marks too. I have tried going over the lines with black sharpie, no extra light, lots of extra light, matte tape. For whatever reason it just does not like the glossy 😢
Oh hello Rachel, did not know you were here. I have missed you and Becca soooo much!! So glad I found you!!!
Willie! Thank you so much for being here. We're so glad you found us my dear :)

Can you sublimate with printable glossy vinyl on glossy subway ceramic tile

What kind of ink are you using? Is it just the regular ink for the printer or a special pigment ink? Thanks
The other sticker that had a smudge on it, can u flip the paper and send it through the maker and cut that on out,ty
Yes you sure can! :)
@@OakAndLamb thanks that what I thought
is this regular ink or special ink?
Do you think this is suitable to use on a ceramic tile? I'm about to order some but I thought I'd check. It's for use as a coaster.
The condensation from the drinks on the coaster will make the sticker peel sooner, but these are water resistant and will work for a while :)
Can I use non printable vinyl to print and cut
Wow thank you so much for the video❤
What is the best way to water proof a sticker?

Can I print and cut from inkscape to cricut? Tia
You would have to bring the file into Design Space, you cannot have your image on one software and print it on another without transferring your design :)
Do you have a work around for when the cricut maker can't sense the glossy paper?
Yes! Here's a helpful video: th-cam.com/video/C-xFYbHQOoM/w-d-xo.html . You can skip to time 31:40 for the answer to your question, but the whole video is helpful :)
I was having this issue. I put a piece of matte tape on the light sensor. Worked great!
Can this be applied to a cup or mug
It sure can! Make sure to hand wash :)
Hi I did the print and cut and have the same printable vinyl you are using. My explorer cut the hair on the messy bun image and it wa all cut up. I am not sure what I did wrong.
Do we need to laminate these?
can you use ecosolvent ink on this for car decals
Also can this printable vinyl be used for car decals? Would it hold up in the elements? Would one have to seal it before using?

Can this product be attached to a water bottle?
What kind of printer do I need?
So glad I ran across this video! Wishing you all well ❤ Quick question…Can printable vinyl be used with a laser printer?
Hi Rachel and Becca!
Hello sweet Cheri!
Do you know if there's a way to print on release paper? Or what type of release paper I can use to print directly on?
What is release paper?
Do you have an Amazon link?
We do! Thanks for asking! Zicoto Printable Vinyl: amzn.to/3JsB5zs
Can you tell me why the black color never dries when I use this paper? I think it was the sticker paper not vinyl but same brand.
If you haven’t already, try changing the material setting on your printer to glossy paper. :)
What’s the name of the sheet
I have this printable vinyl and I'm having a hard time getting my Explorer Air 2 to cut it I keep getting an error. Any tips?
Is the error that it can’t read the registration marks? If so, try changing the lighting in the room. It could either not be getting enough light or maybe even TOO much light.

LOL...gotta make sure I load my printable vinyl correctly; my printer is rear loading.
It's tricky at first!
Has anyone printed using a laser printer??
Way too many commercial messages for other videos.
Can this be used on mugs?
